The effect hurts my eyes too and if you have to find and disable devices, you can't even see the location clue properly.

I would strongly urge Bioware to tone it down at least a little. Seriously it's annoying as hell and it hurts your eyes. Leave the Predator-like counters and all but don't blur the screen that much. Also it makes sense that "Rage" would blur your vision but not for an AI to get blurred vision when it's focusing/going in hunter mode.

I just jumped on Get again today after a long time not playing. It still hurts my eyes. For the love of god Bioware Devs please tone this down. I really don't want to have to go to the extreme of filing complaints with various government agencies. This is a health hazard.

The fix they decided to implement was...
"Nerf it until nobody wants to use it at all, and then people won't have to complain about it hurting their eyes anymore!"
Disappointing...

Friend of mine can't play geth characters without getting severe headaches and disorientation if they put anything in hunter mode. Same with krogans rage mode if not worse. Please add some feature to allow us to have the option to simply turn the visual screen effects off or just tone down the brightness of the powers.
It's a cool idea and all but when it gets in the way of someone trying to enjoy the game the way they want to, it's a problem and needs to be sorted out.

It doesn't hurt my eyes, but I do think it could be tweaked and/or toned down a bit.
I mean, I can NOT see objective markers worth a dern when using it.
Vorcha with their blood mode on? They look like they're marked as enemies.

It is definitely too bright, too much bloom, and riddled with those useless/aesthetically unpleasing symbols.

Doesn't really hurt my eyes but does it ever make finding objectives annoying. Bright light blue bloom filled screen with a small light blue box somewhere on it, Go!

You can decrease your brightness settings

It's not just the brightness, but also the way it makes things...blurry. Things arent crisp while you are in it. Fix it.

Depth of field false
Motion blur false
The remaining static and colourfilter is perfectly fine (still too much for crybabys)

Too bad I can't apply that to my 360. I had been used to it when I played a GE. Now it annoys me too much to bother...ShadedPhoenix wrote...

I agree.
The annoying Hunter Mode is pretty much the main reason I don't play a Geth Infiltrator.

You're silly, this thing is serious, it really hurts... and on consoles you can't do much but change the TV's settings, and that's just stupid, I'm not gonna do that everytime I feel like playing this character. F that character, F it in the A.

This issue has been raised many times by different people (incl me) and I have never seen a response from Bioware. Seems strange because it is a health issue with forseeable effects and has been brought to the their attn but there has been no attempt to mitigate . I am a lawyer and I have seen companies sued for less.

Not everyone should put that kind of stress on their minds they need to remove everything except the red enemiesRasputin17 wrote...
yeah maybe for very long periods but honestly you will get used to it. I have and the only thing that sometimes bothers me is trying to quickly find where the next objective is/

Those effect modes are pointless, take away from the game experience where they are supposed to help. You can barely make out enemies and this is a perk???????? There must of been some explanation by the designer. We all must have the wrong settings. Get rid of the effects and just give the bonus to status.

I agree please tone brightness to about 10% and remove SOME symbols that clutter the screen.
