And thus I have said I can understand where they are coming from. The solutions are simple.
Too bright? Turn down the Brightness
Too Blurry? Turn up the Sharpness
Too "flashy? Get less lag.
Even simpler... Bioware fixes it. For everyone...
Actually thats more complicated...you COULD just do something for yourself for once and stop expecting to be catered to...just saying.
Yes... but the point is that it's a poor design if xyz amount of people have to go change their settings, which work fine in a majority of the same game. Or general screen settings which work fine with most other games and applications.
It's totally cool with a brightness setting. If I have a very dark or very bright screen I can change it ONCE and it will work through out the entire game.
That I have to set it specifically for minor portions of the game is... Bad design of that part of the game.
EDIT and PS: Actually I do like the visual design of huntermode but that does not outweigh the detractions.
No one said to change it each and every time you turn HM on and off.
Set your brightness to a reasonable level (NOT 100%) and play the game, save your eyes.
By having a bright screen on in a dark room for too long can hurt your eyes, same concept as having a screen that is too bright even in a room with all the lights on.
