I have the first 3 books only read the first one though and thought it was great, can't wait to get started the next 2

After all that effort by Paul and Kahlee to get her aboard and send her away to deep space with the Idenna, they killed her off just like that? Thank the goddess I didn't read the fourth novel.

Gillian's cafeteria-type biotic explosion would have been cool to use in game.

This. There's already too many humans, I'd want a unused alien race being used, like a krogan. I'd rather want another asari -- someone with a less cheesy perspective on the asari than Liara --, turian or quarian -- with the same reason as on asari -- squaddie before more humans, as humans add nothing new to the universe.

But that's actually a better idea than character that may or may not be dead, as it seems to be a concensus here that Deception happening is as true as the book is to the lore.

I entirely disagree, what they should do is not become one of the main antagonists without a decent amount of their story shown in the game. They handled Kahlee Sanders well, and her inclusion was brief but cool, and they could have handled Gillian Grayson similarly as an NPC to do a mission with. Though, to be honest, I like the thought of her as a Squaddie.

It'll be interesting if Bioware considered adding her into the game as a dlc companion or appearing in a future dlc mission. Last I read she's getting a lift to the Citadel so either her story ends there, or in a future comic release or dlc.

Last book isn't considered canon due to errors so she is alive and well until the rewrite.

Is deception even considered canon? After the cluster**** which was that book and BW stating that much editing was to be done for future editions to be released, can we really take the events of it too seriously? Dietz spit on all the previously established characters, he shot down ME canon, eradicated homosexuality from the galaxy, managed to manipulate time and space, and cured autism with perseverance and forced social interaction. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that whole incident which was deception wasn't swept under the rug.

That said, troll or not, I'm with OP on this. I thought Gillian would make an awesome squadie. She has the drive, combat prowess, and character depth to be a good fit and her death in Deception was a cheap shot at evoking emotion but was ultimately just disappointing at such senseless waste of character.

I'd love to see her DLC retconned in just to ****** off Kai Leng and she seems like she'd be a more relatable version of Jack that I'd really be willing to interact with, at least for me anyways. Also, sorry for not being a xenophile but I'd rather have her then some two bit Batarian or whatever.

Gillians current whereabouts are unknown as the character gillian grayson in mass effect deception is clearly a imposter to name but a few reasons the character has the wrong age according to the timeline and doesn't have authism.

Gillian was killed by a toothbrush? Wow....that was a ****** way to end a powerful Biotic. Good thing I didn't but the book. Another reason to despise Kei Lang even more. Here's hoping that she lives and appears briefly in ME3....
