I can no longer get a random game in any map other than FB:W. this has effectively ended MP for me. cant get a game unless you want to crouch behind a desk in FB:W using the same strats every single game. (its not optimal nor is it fun) atleast on the top of FB:W you did more than cast a single ability the entire match.

seriously, do people not realize they can host matches.

there i did something to stop people from dealing with this problem.

i never have this problem. i host 99% of the games i play so its fair to say i can play any map and any enemy anytime i want. try it out.

Hydra with Geth is pretty much the same, just hide in the bunker area east of the starting area.

Geth are the easiest for farming because they have no grenade units to flush you out of cover. That's the easiest way to fix Geth farming. Give Geth troopers frag grenades.

They don't have grenades because both Hunters and Pyros will at times walk around cover to flush players out, and on higher settings Primes will spawn turrents in positions to shot you from behind cover. The Geth are the easiest to farm because most of their units can be grabbed and none have insta-kill moves.

Dumb OP. if you don't want to farm geth, then don't farm geth. It's seriously that easy. Or get some friends. If you're on xbl, search "for 360 users looking for teams," you'll find a 2-page thread full of gamertags of people looking to try new things. I'm sick of farming geth too, that's why I stopped farming geth. It's a game, don't whine about people wanting to do one thing, just let them farm and you go lose against the reapers if that's what you wanna do.

Why would you want to stop people from doing something they want to do? Just don't farm and host your own games. It's really very simple.

I have never had any problem with hosting a game on gold with random map random enemies..and i've never got into a game where they only played fbw

This wouldn't be an easy fix, but it might be nice to have it so that you could match-make using toggles for each content type, like for example you could set it to "random location", but also toggle off FB:W, so that it would randomly pick a level, but not that one.
