I don't care much for FB:W farming, but I do it anyway. If they had given us the special Resurgence-heavy packs this week, I would not farm. But, they gave us the Premium Spectre Packs again where the Resurgence pool is severely diluted by the normal stuff. So, I have to FB:W farm to be able to get some of the new stuff in a timely manner--I don't have ginormous amounts of playing time.

Also useable is the control room (the one you're thinking of, I think) and the L-shaped barrier on the edge of the map, right of the center stairs to the control room. That L-shaped barrier is just made for 4 people to spam grabs since it's nearly impossible for a geth to sneak around you.

Sounds like getting rid of farming on fire base white isn't going to solve your problem

Host a firebase reactor geth lobby, or host firebase white against Reapers.

Hide in a good spot cloaked as an infiltrator and watch stupid players expecting a farming lobby (and didn't pay attention to the settings) run around like chickens with their heads cut off.

You don't have to earn credits or experience to have a good time.

If you feel really vicious, host a Condor, Reapers games and empty all the ammo boxes first after every round.

Most people outside of fbw are total tools. Makes it harder to find a good game with different settings.

Oh shut up OP. Host your own game with Random Enemies / Location on Silver. There are hundreds of rounds I've been in that aren't Firebase White farming.

And I like farming. So be quiet.

I really don't understand why you would care. Host your own game, or make some friends who think like you. Why rob people of a game mode they like when it doesn't affect your experience at all?

If something was done to FBW, people would switch the 2nd best map for farming credits easily.

When I search Random/Random and get something I don't want I just leave, don't take that long, plus I don't see the massive issue with FBW/Geth farming, people want the new characters / guns, as I do aswell.

The problem isn't Firebase White, it's the fact that for the "average" group of random gamers, it's the only efficient way to earn a lot of credits. The difficulty jump from Silver to Gold is crazy, and so is the amount of credits you earn. The game is just not balanced properly on Gold.

People see an easier way to get 2 1/2 times as many credits as they can by busting their balls to try to complete a silver, they are going to take it.

what the large number of players on FB white has done is taken players away from other maps, which made it increasingly hard to get a game started. as a result lot of players who absolutely do not want to play on FB:W the way its played atm have left MP completely. it has already done irreparable dmg to MP imo.

That's all I ever do to ensure I have a good connection, and so I get to choose what I want to play. Problem solved.

If people find enjoyment out of farming credits, in a manner that isn't cheating, then let them be. Everyone can enjoy the game however they please. no. a lot of players have left already im sure. some are just tired of the same format, same just tire of the single map. but, it doesnt help the longevity of the game one bit to have 99% of games run on the same map played in the same way. a lot of players who payed $60 prob feel ripped off too.

2) YOU not understanding that when joining a gam certain client side parameters can be used to AVOID joining such a game

The OP isn't complaining because a few people FB:W Geth farming. He's complaining because every game he can find is FB:W Geth farming. So get off your high horse and realise that the OP should be allowed to enjoy his $60+ purchase as well.
