Then these guys should come to the conclusion that they paid 60 quids for Mass effect 3 single player campaign which is fully owrth the price and also have the option of playing a FREE multiplayer mode which is pretty fun, unless you overdo it. Really! When you played 30 iterations of mass effect 1 then you become tired of the game too. Are you ripped off by Bioware because of that fact?

The OP isn't complaining because a few people FB:W Geth farming. He's complaining because every game he can find is FB:W Geth farming. So get off your high horse and realise that the OP should be allowed to enjoy his $60+ purchase as well.

It's called "host your own gold game that is not FB:W"?

Besides the chances of clearing gold that isn't FB:W with pubs is slim to none...Which leads us to...

This is why I rarely play Gold. I can't host matches due to my connection, but luckily, Silver is more fun anyways.

Please understand that IF THE OP is UNABLE to change his search parameters then it is NOT OUR problem and we WILL continue to farm Firebase White until our eyes bleed dry and my striker is mark 10 finally.

And YES, I do play other maps as well, just saying, because I know I can just Change my gaming parameters to NOT play on firebase white. Salutations with <3felt amusement at the OPs nerd-rage.

No I am not. You said "Every random game is FB: W".  Others told you "Create your own random game, there you go, problme solved."

STILL you find the time and energy to blame the "dumbarse" community who WANTS to play Firebase white for your intellectual shortcomings regarding the "Create a game" settings.

They should indeed make FBW harder to farm. But only after significantly changing the payouts from different difficulties. People who don't belong on gold are playing gold because it's insanely hard to unlock your items otherwise.

ITT: A lot of dumbasses who don't realize that people don't farm geth for fun, they farm geth for credits. The OP wants people and himself to have fun. That is the problem.

I never got this complaint.  The "random packs" are the only way to give the MP any longevity.  After all, it's just the same Horde Mode over and over again.  No variety.


If you could just "buy what you wanted" , then you'd get bored of the Multiplayer within a week.  Trust me on this.

I happened to get my Quarian Infiltrator, which is exactly what I wanted, in my very first pack.  Then soon after, I got the Widow.  So I got exactly what I wanted, right off the bat.

Cue boredom, and losing any reason to play the multiplayer fora  good while.  There was no longer anything to work towards RIGHT AFTER I GOT THE GAME.

Eventually I came back and decided on a new goal: unlocking the quarian engineer.  which has kept me playing everyday, because now, i've unlocked everything EXCEPT the quarian engineer.  I'm actually dreading getting it, because then I'll be done with Multiplayer.


Being able to "Just buy what you want" would kill the multiplayer.  Because you'd just buy what you wanted....and then what?  Nothing else to play for.

I'm on the PC, and I only get FB:W doing random searches less than 50% of the time. It's the most common, but it's not like it's everyone.


I hope they don't change aything.  Farmer are going to farm, and I like being able to recognize them when I see the lobby.   It keeps all the other games fun.

Crazy thought:  I'd play to enjoy myself with my friends.  The frustration of putting in a couple of hours to earn a few packs, and getting nothing we actually want to use kills our enjoyment far more than just getting the things we want.

It makes it so much easier to sympathize with the plight of FB:W farming.

Of course, eldrjth could get a mic, join/find a good pub farming group then after a couple rounds suggest that they try a different map or different enemies...

Just don't suggest it to me until I can get enough credits to have something other than a MantisX for my QI/SI...

It makes players feel ripped off? You need to set up a group called RETAKE FIREBASE WHITE to do something about this.
