If I would get an answer for it, it would probably be like: "How will this terribad 'ending' of yours benefit you and the series?"
OR
"I honestly want to 'khali-ma" myself and tear myself open after seeing this ending. Who do I have to thank for that?"
If you could ask BioWare one question, and get an honest reply...?

I would ask them why they didn't stick to the original dark energy concept / storyline? It was 1,000 times better than what we got.

"Who shot Kennedy"
"Is Elvis still alive"
"What is the secret of the Bermuda Triangle"
All present questions to them with as much "speculation", as Bioware presented us with the ending(s).

Why only two guys wrote the ending? Why not the people who wrote Mordin's beautiful redemption? Why not the guys who wrote Tali and Legion on Rannoch, the entire Tuchanka arc, Thane's prayer?
But most of all, why not use Drew's original ending? It was clearly better than the actual one.

I would aks them something like; "Why did you make false statements, like the rachni making a big impact on the end-game and the end not being as simple as a chice between ending A, B or C or our choices actually having an impact on the ending, about your game?"
this is probably the thing that irritates me most, if they hadn't told us how the ending would live up to all those statements it would be much less of a shock once you actually get to the end.
why wouldn't they just shut up about promising us stuff they obviously knew wasn't going to be in the ending?

Yeah i don't know if it an obvious no, i strongly suspect an extended cut was pre-planned (much like you get specially extended edition movies) however they decidede to make it free for a limited time.
I kind of agree with this. I've always had that thought due to Mike Gambles tweet about 'if you only knew what we were planning' or something.
I thought that Mike Gamble might do that simply to try to appease the fanbase a little by giving them hope, and that way at least word of mouth wouldn't slow down the game's sales so much.

What were all of the thought processes when choosing the ending out of all the ones placed on the table and what where those endings?
I love writing fiction and piecing together a story, I'm really curious to know what other endings they had come up with and honestly why they thought the ending they chose was 'the one'. I hope the answer isn't just EA demanded time constraints like I have heard roaming around the net:(. Bad EA! I want a quality product even if release dates are pushed back another year. It's like all of the bad B-grade movies that keep popping out that are so awful and watered down I refuse to go see them. Look at the long time in production Avatar movie for a good example. I wasn't a huge fan of the Pocahontas-esque story but the presentation of the story and obvious care the staff put into all the gorgeous looking scenes made me really appreciate it. Plus did they not knock Titanic out of the box office because of its sheer quality? Quality over quantity EA! It pays off more in the long run.
I loved ME3, It's obvious to me Bioware put a lot of care into it but the ending felt so rushed and it...just. ended. like it suddenly drove off a cliff. I'll paraphrase myself from another post reguarding the endings. "I felt everything I had done was thrown into a trash compactor and all I could do was step back and listen to the horrible crunching noise." This pretty much sums up my feelings.

Why did Hudson and Walters write the ending on their own, without the peer review that all the other parts of the story got?

"May I recommend a read?"
It's "Fiasko" by Stanislaw Lem, my favourite author. It's about first contact and good intentions gone awry.
A parallel to the current situation is not intended but may be observed. Anyway, it's a good read and I would like to see more quality space operas.

Does it make you pull your hair out when you hear your entitled fanbase acting like they should get to write the end of your story for you?
