That's pretty much what's going to happen.
*sigh*
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Create a crap ending and infuriate over +60k fans.
Create a patch and put many 360 players in the dark.

Yo dog, I heard you like patches. So we're making a patch to patch the previous patch.

Be aware that patching the console versions of the game requires an expensive certification process. As such, BioWare may refrain from patching the current known issues until a much later date, at such time that other issues have been discovered to be addressed in an overall patch.

The game was broken since before release when they decided to neglect ME1 players.
But yes now the game is officially just a coaster.

So we'll probably not hear anything for a month or so, then Dr. Ray will make an announcement about this but let us know they won't be doing anything to fix the patch, but instead are working on a compromise for the team's artistic vision.
So then they release a patch that'll extend the patch, even though the game is still broken tpo proect the team's artistic vision.
Least that seems to be the trend BioWare is going these days.
And I think I may have gotten it all out of my system with the analogies. The issue is certainly problematic for many 360 players, especially ones like me who obviously despised the ending for whatever reason and only had the multiplayer to turn to. Now it's like, what's the point if I can't even play that.

No, but seriously; I paid a whole lot hell of money for this game, and not only that, I wanted it! But NOOOOO, they had to come up with crappy issues, and crappy endings as well. I hate it to complain about a game, usually the problems that many people have with new games involve storyline and general gameplay, that doesn't affect me. But their ending surpassed the barriers for several millions of kilometers, and this issues are ISSUES, not whiny kids! ISSUES! True, technical, butt kicking issues! WHAT THE F***!?

P.S.
The sad part of this was that I had to wait 30 mins to just be told I had to wait.

chatted with the ea game advisor saying the problem has been reported and the developers are aware of it and working on a solution. And he would not be able to assist me in this issue. And they might have a further update in 2 or 3 hours.
Thanks for the update

Quite possibly not related to the patch in any way as they are constantly updating the server side of things without 360 users needing a patch.

If you had played swtor this is something you would of got used to. Each time they made a bug fix patch they'd end up screwing something else up entirely which resulted in more downtime for the player base.danteliveson wrote...

My theory is this problem is server side. Whatever they did with the servers between this morning and this afternoon is the problem.
This is what an EA rep told me when I called about another issue. She said they know it is a server side issue, just not exactly what the problem was nor how to fix it (as of two days ago).
