Please Bioware, try to make the art in DA3 more cohesive.

If they get rid of the ClownSpawn and DonkeyKongSpawn I will be happy. Oh and the DownsSyndromeElves, must not forget that horrifically bad piece of art design.
I'm with you. But they also need to do something about the weapon and armor designs as well. And the genlocks! Wow, they look ridiculous. And the environments!
If they fix these things, then I would be able to accept the art. But there is still a lot of other things to fix: story, gameplay, music, exploration, quests.

DA2 isn't all that bad.
Hurlocks = ClownSpawn
Genlocks = DonkeyKongSpawn
The story was fine except for the very last part, after Anders blows up the chantry. After that point the story drives the game into pointlessness; and the really frustrating thing that one tiny small change coulda saved it.
If they had made it that your "choice" of side determined which of Orsino or Meredith had gone mad because of the Lyrium Idol (because up to that point it really could have been either of them) and thus which one was the final boss.
Just doing that would have made the ending not suck.
The music was only annoying because it was Dragon Age Legends music stolen verbatim and shoved into DA2. No originality to it. It's unlikely they will do that again.
Exploration and side quests. Were both casualties of the short dev cycle, something that wasn't intended. And is unlikely to be repeated.
So really there isn't THAT much wrong with the game.
The art style was probably one of the worse things about the game (after the bad ending and the stupid lazyass repetitive levels, and stupid parachuting waves of enemies) because it was incoherent and comical. Some bits of it were a VAST improvement, for example giving the Chantry, Templars, and Mages a more uniform look was a very good idea.
And given that it was supposed to be giving the game a more memorable cohesive and "iconic" look then we can say that it epically failed. It was supposed to replace the "sea of brown" in DAO so that the game didn't feel as drab and boring looks wise, and it did indeed replace the sea of brown. With a sea of grey.
*facepalm*
Art is clearly not Bioware's strong point.

The one thing I can't stand. Weapon designs. 95% of them looked ridiculous, useless, impractical and cartoonish.

I disagree. The Story was bad from the get go. The introduction was really bad. It made no sense. How can Varrick not know what I look like?
And it keeps on being bad. Hawke knows people I have never seen before. And I am not just talking about the family. Also random people you find in Kirkwall. Hawke will be like: "Hey XXX! How is it going?" And I have never seen the person before. There is so much of stuff like this, that I am feeling left out. I am constantly feeling disconnected from Hawke. Also with the companions. At some point Isabela asked for help, and Hawke wanted to make sure that it is not going to be like the last time. What last time? I wasn't there! But apparently my character was; or is it even my character?
I don't think so anymore. Who is this Hawke person I kept asking? I never felt I was able to define my character because she was constantly ripped from my hands, and then she would have done something without my knowledge. Sometimes for 3 years at a time.
I didn't have enough opportunities to roleplay. At some point my Hawke was dating Merrill, and during some banter she is being called things like stupid and the like by Fenris and Aveline as I recall. They say that they wished she was dead instead of some other elf. Why I am not able to stand up for Merrill? Hawke is just standing there, watching as her girlfriend is being bullied. Let me roleplay! Making me feel like I was Hawke was really poorly handled.
Then there is blackouts stretching 3 years. The 10 year span was just a weird gimmick. Nothing changes in Kirkwall over the 10 years. No new sections is being build. Nothing happens. People stand like statues frozen in spot over ten years. How boring can it be?

I don't know where they have stolen the music from. But the music and soundtrack as a whole just seemed corny I think. Hard to describe, but it didn't make the scenes any better. Just worse I think.

Also the way you completed quests. Everything ended with a boring fight.

Oh, yes there is!

Well. The art style in Mass Effect is great!
But the DA2 art style...
