Dear Bioware! I don't know if its been posted yet, but this "challenge"/community event is the worst one yet. The reward for playing a map is +10% XP, which is basically the same amount NOT given by not using random maps... Erm... Something does not add up. Please, consider something actually challenging for next weekend (6 promotions, gold extraction, etc). Thank you.

I posted earlier, sorry - I didn't realize that it was two different things about giving PS3 owners access to bonus xp/packs. My apologies, but I still think this is crap that it's been a month and they haven't worked this out. If I knew this was going to happen PRIOR to me purchasing the game, I would have figured F*** the PS3 version and went with the PC version, or heck, going for the 360 version and waiting a month to buy a 360 to get the full experience. I think this sucks I really hope they fix this soon. I've supported sony since the PS1, but if they're not letting bioware do this simply because it's a third party title, they're going to lose a lot of support from people like me, and a lot of consumers who see this type of behavior and decide to purchase a multi-plat game elsewhere. I mean - Dead Space 2 for the PS3 and 360 didn't have special weekends (that I know of), but they did have those special suits that you could only get by killing someone who already had that suit - so other third party developers have been able to do special events that give items it seems. I might be wrong on how this works also, I'm just trying to give examples, and i'm really Irritated that I can't participate in yet another N7 weekend

where did sony officialy say they there is no problem?

Bioware has been trying to get approval from Sony for the promotional weekends since before the game was released.

It has only been recently that Bioware has been able to say it was Sony's refusal preventing PS3 participation.

I think from a fairness point of view, we should be all up in Sony's face until they officially come out and say it is not their fault, or otherwise explain their refusal.

Ofcourse not. They hope people will buy credits instead of earning them. I find it already idiotic that you can only earn credits in 3 of 10 waves. Why no credits for every wave killed? Or more waves with objectives? Or more types of objectives, they are the fun waves!

Or more objectives in 1 match?

Objectives in wave 2/4/6/8 and 10?

Would you complain if it affected you? Why are those that complain about being excluded "whiny babies" ?
We paid the same price as every one else yet we get less.
After this Operation, participating users get a guaranteed DLC character unlock ... PS3 users get Nothing. ...

Again i refer to the fact, why was this not addressed in testing. If this is due to the approval process then why was the approval process not agreed upon prior to release or if indeed it takes longer for Sony to approve why not announce events earlier to Sony to allow the approval to take place prior to that actual event.

So if Sony won't let the same promotion run on xbox and pc and ps3 can't you run a slighlty different promotion for ps3 users instead of just leaving them out?

Are we supposed to get the pack during the event (say after the first time playing/finishing a match on one of the new maps), or after the event (and then another week or two due to exploiters...)?

I'm playing on the 360 but can't help but feel that our ps3 brethren are getting slightly shafted here. Why not just give the ps3 players a free pack to make up for the fact that they can't get one through the event?

Just seems that if Sony are blocking the promotion this would be the simplest and most customer friendly way of handling things.

If BW was able to issue community victory packs for Goliath and Raptor to PS3 users, I'd suggest doing the same here. I don't need anything for free, I just hope they put the "guaranteed character" packs in the store next week. I got a Geth Infiltrator (which I'd use if I could ever get a Geth Plasma Shotgun) six packs ago and it's been nothing but redundant character cards and SMG upgrades ever since. The unlock system stinks.

if we select the Resurgence maps we lose the 15% experience bonus for a random map, so the 10% in operation Resurgence is a bit pointless

Curious... Does anyone actually have all the new characters unlocked yet, I only ask cause, Premium pack after premium pack i still cant land either Batarians. I have every other character unlocked. I have seen Batarians around, Geth for that matter too. I have seen all the content being playable. but this weeks Operation (as easy and silly as it sounds) would be rather more silly and awkward If they did not put some sort of mechanic in the unlock system keeping everone from unlocking at least one of the characters till this operation has concluded. Any ideas?
