I just unlocked one about an hour ago. This thing is a beast even with what some call the useless GPR. Even prefer it over the GI. Yeah, it's that good.

EDIT ADD: 

Might as well get the nerf petition going right now since someone likes this one way too much.

I think if there not giving the commendation packs out for people they shoud give a N7 pack were you get a N7 weapon

You'll get them next week, it's worded quite clearly.

What's not is the statement that everybody who plays with the DLC during this weekend will get the pack. Sadly I'm away this weekend and cannot play but I have the DLC "operational". Will I still get the pack?

Yes, those two statements are rather contradictory. What I don't get, is why wait until next week to issue the packs? Seems to me you'd want to start the expansion promo event with the actual promo with the incentive to play being trying out the class you just unlocked, rather than incentivizing play by a free unlock later.

How does this work, do we get the pack AFTER the completion date? And what happens if we have all but ONE character class? Do we get that one remaining that we don't have as the guaranteed one, is that one random as well?

I don't know if you are, given these two statements:

Anyone who has the Resurgence Pack multiplayer DLC operational during this weekend will be granted a Reserves Pack.  A Reserves Pack unlocks one of the new random alien classes guaranteed.

Firebase Condor and Firebase Hydra are available immediately.  If you download the Resurgence Pack and play this weekend you will be rewarded with a Reserves Pack the following week, containing one new Resurgence character.

Both have different reward conditions: the former is a pack rewarded simply for having the DLC installed and the latter is explicitely stated as playing this weekend. It's possible they're both referring to the same thing, but in that case it's rather poor wording.

I can't seem to get my pack that unlocks a random character. Granted, I already have all of the geth, krogan vanguard, and asari justicar. I'm just missing Batarians.
