Guess what?  If everyone missed the point, then the point, in all likelyhood, was moronic.  Because if it made any sense, "Everyone," wouldn't have missed it.

If they want testing done, they can just say so, rather than touting it as, "Operation Resurgence!" as though this was gonna be a fun perk for the fans.  Better yet, they can just have some beta testers run through it.  If it was actually about testing (which, to be blunt, it wasn't).

To be clear, no, I don't have any interest in, "crying," about free content, I think it's cool that they do it.  What I have a problem with is people/companies patronizing the fans.  That's straight-up weak.  Getting spoon-fed crap and being told it's nectar is contemptible, and deserves to be pointed out as lousy behaviour.

They already said the new weapons are MP only.

As for the packs, I assume it'll be like theother Operations and we'll get them on Tuesday?

Can I just clarify what I have to do to unlock the Resurgence Pack next week? Is it that I just have to play on Multiplayer or does it have to be on a new map?

What? I have both geth, batarian setinel and krogan vanguard and have yet to buy any packs with money.....

He was a lvl 7 batarian with N7 level 7. So the batarian was the first character he created.

If Valve can offer cross-platform play with Portal 2 between PC/Mac and PS3 and Infinity Ward can do events with MW3 and COD Elite, it says to me that BioWare isn't trying all that hard to get the PS3 version in parity with the Xbox/PC versions.

Because Valve is the frontrunner for PC gaming and one of the top developers around? As for Infinity Ward, the answer there is money.

I love how someone earlier tried to start a console wars. IT IS UP TO THE PEOPLE! which platform they want to play the damn game, but sony wanting to be safe about it does not mean it makes the PS3 a failure. IMHO. PC, and all the consoles got their own place in the gaming community. and they all cater to different needs. Where an x360 is a cheaper alternative as a gaming console compared to a PS3, PS3 offers their owners more than just a gaming console so its more easily picked up by an older gamer base who are looking for a multifunctional console, While the PC offers a platform for tech savvy people and offers them the choice to influence what their machine contains and is able to do. Everyone who realizes this much and sees past the childish console wars, in my eyes deserves hats off, and anyone instigating console wars just makes me laugh every time i see a post from them.

more on topic: It also seems that the random map option has been rigged to give hydra and condor more often than the other maps we had before, thats a nice bonus, also as someone mentioned before Sony is not happy about the quality of the game code, especially how easily it is to manipulate and exploit, but that isnt the only problem, a problem that is not on BWs end either, is the system the EA servers are based on these days, they have to link certain data now to origin even if they play on the console, which sony is not comfy doing, considering it is basically data mining for personal info, with a poor encryption. The main reason for sony not to give a go, is EAs fault. not BW not Sony, but EA.

I'm just wondering, how do you know if you qualify for the pack? I played a game a little bit ago, with Resurgence downloaded and installed---I played on one of the Resurgence maps, in fact. However, my "Registered game content" on here does not show me qualifying for the pack, unlike it does for the other operations. I have Gameplay Feedback turned on.

So along with the reserves pack will there be a special pack containing mostly DLC stuff as well? Replacing the Premium Spectre Pack.

This is good. Very good. The only class I need is the Geth Infiltrator, and i haven't been lucky. With this Reserves Pack, I should get it.

Firebase Condor and Firebase Hydra are available immediately.  If you download the Resurgence Pack and play this weekend you will be rewarded with a Reserves Pack the following week, containing one new Resurgence character.

I do question now though if that means New as in character you don't have, or New as in the fact that the Resurgence characters are new?
