So far from all the packs I bought I#ve only managed to get the Batarian Sentinal. Low and behold the resurgence pack gives me another Batarian Sentinal. Wow, thanks. Couldn't have given me one of the 5 classes I havn't unlocked.

I agree that you should get characters you don't have instead of existing ones...I'd prefer to get the appearance options unlocked after I get all the characters.

Shame on you BioWare. You blame Sony for not letting us participate, and will not give us a free Resurgence pack like the other platforms. However, you put the packs on the store for us to buy? I see EA has taught you how to screw your fans, all for $2.39 a pack..or was it $2.99? I don't know, because you could not even get those packs to work right before yanking them from the store.

ChimDeathmonkey you should really get your facts straight. First sony has been having problems with bioware and letting them let you connect to the servers. Second the free Resurgence pack was changed if you read the forums you would know this. Since they switch it from doing two packs to including it in the victory pack that was given for this weekend's operation. If you didn't get it I'm sorry but its a random thing and you may not have gotten what you wanted but don't go trying to make false facts about bioware when they are ungrounded.

They're all technically free; You can purchase them for credits earned in game. Its your choice to pay $2.99 if you wish. And they took them down because they weren't working correctly when being purchased. Be patient; They'll be back. Take the time now to save up some credits so you can buy a Resurance pack as soon as they become available.

How do you really know it is Sony's fault? When this game was in development, BioWare did not know the infrastructure they were developing on?

So used my points and got the Batarian Soldier, The Asari Justicar, The Krogan Battlemaster, and my personal favorite the Geth Engineer. Then I got the Victory Pack and I got another Krogan Battlemaster which simply gave my existing Battlemaster the secondary color option. Is there any way Bioware could fix these packs so that in the future you get a character you don't already have. I played all weekend, which was enjoyable, and basically got nothing in my VP. It was very disappointing.  If you have already unlocked all of the characters I get it but if you haven't it should be something new.

Getting another color for your existing character is good

Not as good as a new character.

Thats not proof. That is what was reported by all the video game sites. It is what BioWare posted as the reason.

In my Krogan rage I called it a Resurgence pack, instead of the free Victory packs everyone else gets, with a Resurgence character inside.

Well then... Yea, we can't get them. However, the blame should be shifted to Sony more than Bioware. Sony is being very causious due to their bein hacked last year. Hopefully they figure some sort of agreement out.

That is not proof. That "article" quotes the only callout Bioware has made in Sony's direction, but does NOT state anything about WHY Sony is not approving the events. The fact that there has been no official response from Sony means that we do not know the whole story. Ravenmyste and Talvaris please be careful about speculation. We all want answers but without proof you are only fueling flames.  If you have additional proof or quotes from company reps that explain the issue in more detail, please provide. Otherwise, please clarify that you are guessing or speculating instead of claiming it is fact.

I love it when people act like they know the technicilaties of game development but really don't.

Sony is at fault here - there is no reason for Bioware not wanting PS3 players to participate in this. Sony is hurting themselves and they have been notorious for this sort of ****.
