So we get free DLC that (when patched) prevents us from playing the multiplayer..... At his point I don't believe Bioware has any foot left to shoot. But they keep pulling the trigger anyway and they're about up to their...wait for it... Knee.

So after 20+ restarts I deleted every game file (DLC included) after copying them to "the cloud" and was able to connect. I'm not sure if that actually has any bearing on the outcome because it could be a fluke, but hey.

I'm going out on a limb and guessing that more new model xboxs are being reported becuase most people have new models due to the high mortality rate of the older models.

Me and my friend both have older model xbox's and we are still having the same issue.

I've been having the same problem. I have the 250gb XBOX Slim that came from the Kinect bundle. Regular retail edition, both CDs on the HDD. My XBOX 100% hard-freezes on the 'connecting' thing in the main menu.

I haven't tried any temp fixes yet, because I unfortunately have schoolwork to do. Would definitely like it to be fixed later though, for when I'm done. =/

Star wars Xbox bundle. Just deleted and redownloaded ashes and resurgence and it seems to be working now. I'm in a lobby now. Don't know if that will help anyone but I figured I put it out there.

i just made it into multiplayer, I did nothing different btw games still installed with patch, new dlc, from ashes dlc and the n7 single player pack and using disc one. just kept trying. Im going to try to do a match to make sure

joined a match and all my stuff seems there

Haha I've been trying to fix my NAT type for like a week to play with my friend. I finally get it fixed, we're starting up ME3 and... well you get the picture.

Having this problem too.
N7 edition of the game, with both discs installed and every dlc downloaded. I can't get past the "communicating" & "connecting to EA servers" without completely locking out my console.

Original 360 elite (jasper, I beleive) 250gb.

Why the hell nothing in this thread has ever happened to me? Even before the patch, I never had these problems.

It has something to do with the DLC check on the server.
I switch discs and it did nothing, Re-downloaded profile, nothing. re-download DLC nothing. I clear the cache which removes the patch, declined the update. OK it works now. I switched off auto connecting to this server and restarted the game. I now download the patch. Now even when auto connecting to the EA server is off it still freezes but at "checking dlc screen" with Communicating in the upper left hand corner.


UPDATE: just got in and didnt do anything different. Maybe back up???

Well testing it again to see something.. and yeah still dies when connecting a second time. Sucks.. cause.. I stoppe dplaying like an hour before this issues started to happen.

Bear in mind that if this *is* a server side issue where it will only allow connections under X conditions or in Y numbers, then when people are connecting after swapping discs, deleting this, rebooting that, it would actually just be random chance and not what they tried. But they'd think it was what they tried. #servertrollingu

see might have agreed but my 4 most regular playing friends all still have the older models (and the two whom play ME3 havent had an issue yet)

It seems to be working but one guy wont ready up. But fromwhat i can tell everythings working. I have all my stuff too.

Hmmm. I just turned on my Xbox and started up ME3, let the update happen, and I'm in multiplayer with zero hitches. I see that the premium Spectre pack has been updated to say what the normal SP says now about the DLC characters.

I have a 120g black slim xbox, both discs installed and its the CE with the all current DLC, so I dont know what the problem could be lol.

Question for Xbox players: Are both disc installed?
Mine are, don't have a single problem. Strange.
