Wow what could have happened in the 3 hours since i last played this game to cause this ridiculous error. Seriously...

I can't even download the patch (possibly a blessing). Each time I try I'll make a little progress then it'll just stop for 10 minutes. After that time it gives me an error message and I can no longer connect to Xbox Live. If I restart the Xbox, it instantly reconnects to Live. I've gone through this about 5 times now and the download is at about 25%...

I'm on an old, fat Xbox w/ a hard drive from an Elite.

I am having the same issue on a new slim xbox 360 (250gb) locking up at server screen.
dl'ed the dlc before patch play w/o issue til the patch


EDIT :  I cleared my cashe and redownloaded the pach and that seamed to work a least for  now

note to bioware this is my data for a real fix

xbox 360 slim w/ 250 gb hdd
both discs installed
error happened on disc one
after re downloading patch game worked on disc one
not trying anyhing else yet since its working and i want to play

I downloaded the patch this morning and played and had zero problems. I recently exited the game to walk someone through deleting their cache step by step because they were having this problem.

When I tried to restart ME3 I was having the same problem.

Whatever you guys did between this morning and this afternoon with your servers is the problem.

It has NOTHING to do with what model Xbox people have.

This is a SERVER SIDE ERROR.

Came home to down a patch I don't need and now I can't sign in...freezes on checking DLC. I've deleted the cache without success.

doesnt matter where you believe the error to be whether it is right or wrong the entire point is the more information about variables there are the easier it is to eliminate every possibility. Especially as the error does appear to be happening more frequently for newer xbox models.

Alright got home and tried out mine to see how if I am being affected and yup. Froze while connecting to EA servers, had to hard reboot it as it became completely unresponsive.

I'm running a 250GB HD "Arcade" model (gen 2) Xbox.

I played half the damn day after downloading the patch with no problems as well. Took a break for a few hours and come back to all this craziness. Hey, at least the DLC was free.

 I can't get past the Signing into EA screen. It crashes forcing me to hardboot as well.

Playing on a 250gb 360 Arcade.

Got on after downloading the patch and i was able to play fine. Took a break like someone else said and now it won't work. GG

Happening to me also. No fix or updates for those who lost unlocks, no fix yet for those who didn't get commendation and victory packs, and now this. Wow, this is just horrible by any account.

Also hosed here. Forced 4mb patch download, already had Resurgence from yesterday, hard freeze every time it hits "connecting to EA Servers".

360 Elite (fat), about 2 years old, no prior problems. Normal retail version of game.

Tried everything suggested so far (switched discs, uninstalled both discs from HDD, cleared system cache, uninstalled Resurgence, etc).

If I clear the cache (deleting the 4mb patch) and decline to re-download it, I can play single player just fine. If I re-download the patch, back to freezing.

Very annoyed at this. Where was the QA for the patch?

Deflection of the real issue to confuse people.

Problem is server side and related to whatever they did between this morning and this afternoon with their servers.

My game freezes on Connecting to EA server(s) or whatever, I have had to restart my Xbox more than 5 times and it doesn't help. I've redownloaded my gamertag but nothing worked, I had it installed to my HDD so I deleted it and also didn't work. I cannot try the game with disk 2 because I don't have it atm, any suggestions?

I'm going out on a limb and guessing that more new model xboxs are being reported becuase most people have new models due to the high mortality rate of the older models.

Been having this issue since 6 this morning, I hope they fix this issue soon.
