I can't get past the title screen, it just keeps freezing. I tried changing discs, clearing my cache...nothing works. Do they not test the patches before they release them? Because I don't know how they missed this bug.

WHAT THE HELL BIOWARE!!!!!

I come home from long day of work and just when I'm settled in I decide to play some multiplayer to ease the mind and I CANT BECAUSE OF A BROKEN UPDATE THAT YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE TESTED FIRST BEFORE RELEASING!!!!!

Great! New patch does nothing to fix my problem, but adds a new problem. It's almost like they don't want me to play.

this is a big problem .... between the bug in the conversations (Garrus where are you?), the reset of the counters, blocking XBOX to connect to EA servers ... I think my next console will be a stone. Is the patch certified for anybody??

Yep. I have the same problem. Freezes every time it says 'Connecting to EA Servers'.

Weird, after the patch was released this Wednesday (since it's Thursday already here in the Netherlands), I played all afternoon. When I returned from school, it freezes at the precise moment when my xbox tries to connect to the EA servers for the second time. I have tried it three times and three times it did the same thing. I hope this gets fixed a lot sooner than when the last patch was released, other wise there will be hell to pay, and that's coming from an atheist for Christ's sake!

Same issue with me, crashes on Communicating with EA server with either disk.

Details:

Xbox 360 Elite (the black one with 120 GB hard drive)
Mass Effect 3 Collectors Edition
Only crashes after patch

This is ridiculous, between this, the mess up with the Resurgance packs yesterday, the lack of a specific DLC pack until next week, Bioware is making it very difficult to maintain this customer. Please PM me if there is any information you need about my system, playing habits or whatever to fix this game BREAKING patch.

I'm getting freezing problems too. Most of the time it freezes up my 360 at the communicating with EA servers screen. I have to do a hard reset on the 360. First time it happened, I was able to play after one reset. This afternoon it took me 3 resets before I could get into the game.

You can add me to the list as well - no issues yesterday with the Resurgence DLC, downloaded the patch today (can't go online and NOT download it) and now stuck on the 'Connecting to EA servers' message. Oh well, screw them, more time to watch the play-offs...

Yep, I'm having the same issue. Happened 4-5 times in a row (I was stubbornly trying to make it work, lol) before I got on here.
I wouldn't be bugged so much, if it weren't for the fact I can't even play Single Player. I mean, its literally locking me out of doing anything beyond hitting the start button and being annoyed.

A ball park figure on when patching the patch will be done would be nice, if nothing else (besides the actual fix I mean).

Same issue goes for me as well. Downloaded the update about 10 mins ago and my xbox finally froze for the first time, so I thought it was just bound to happen eventually but didn't think it was the update. So after multiple attempts and switching off and on from disc one or two, I gave up. Hopped on the forums just to see everyone else who plays on 360 has the issue too. And then the have the audacity to give us a weekly challenge with a possibility that 360 users may not be able to play on the weekend depending how quick they fix this problem.

And that's why Bioware should have just left Mass Effect well enough alone and not tried to force upon the community of people they had already established - a change. You do not change what is not broken. If EA had nothing to do with ME2 and ME3 maybe something might have been different today; but unlikely.

I can safely say that this is the last Bioware game I think I'll play...Their quality went down hill QUICK during the Mass Effect 3 "Era". The final book, the final game, both went to crap quick..Ah well.
