The only way i could accept an earth map is if i could take down a reaper, it doesn't need to be a capital ship, just a destroyer.

The more maps the merrier !

They have the potential to churn out new maps very quickly, thanks to all the assets in the game and the relatively limited size of them.
Fun thing, about the same time this thread was created yesterday, I did make myself a list of locations I would like to see in game :
- Thessia (mainly courtyards, bridges, a very open map)
- Illium (map of medium sized rooms with few covers, but chokepoints at the doors)
- Horizon (not unlike Firebase ghost, but with less verticality, and more use of the colony blocks as shooting spots)
- Freedom's Progress (vast, open killzones, surrounded by a network of closed colony buildings)
- Feros/Zhu's Hope (I remember the enclosed area in the tower below the colony, which was very nice and eery, there's a potential to feel trapped in there)
- Omega (face it, we all want it, Turians soldiers going Archangel style on Cerberus)
- Earth (a completely new location, playing on a very vertical map, with buildings you can climb in)
- A jungle map (either the one where Jacob's father crashed, or some like the factory on Zaeed's loyalty mission)
- Rannoch (a map with very natural, open zones, and clusters of Geth technical buildings)
- Sur'Kesh (one building in the canyon, with a few different floors)
- A ship interior (very longitudinal and narrow)
- Collector cruiser (design not unlike the one in ME2, with large corridors with low covers and platforms)
- Inside a Reaper (hell yeah !)

I know the whole premise of Mass Effect 3 is about saving earth... but in all honesty earth is the most boring/dull thing about the game. This is mass effect we're talking about. Ever since it started in 2007, ME has always been about discovering the galaxy. Earth is too familiar.

imo, instead of earth, if they want a location closer to home, I say either Mars or Earth's moon (like in ME1) Unlike the earth sections, mars was really cool in ME3 and could have some cool potential.

That's exactly how this one feels!

When it first saw the "take Earth back" slogan for ME3, and found out that the final battle would take place on Earth, this one literally CRINGED.

Not kidding. CRINGED.

Which does not make any sense if you think about it, saving Earth never meant that the reapers would just magically disintegrate, that part of the storys plot was very weak, you leave so many worlds that are under a brutal seige just to save one planet. Cant even figure out how we got so many alien races to help us, it is unbearably selfish.

Save Earth maps for bf3 EA!

You clearly didn't understand the story at all.

The point wasn't to help Earth, the point was to unite the fleets for a coordinated counter attack, the only way they had a chance of winning. The combined fleet was designed to protect the Crucible while they figured out how to deploy it.

Earth and the rest of the Reaper occupied planets had already been lost anyway, the point was to destroy the reapers, not to regain Earth.

Earth does make sense in a way....when Shepard is fighting on London, The N7 Special Ops squad is on earth as well, so i wouldnt mind maps on Earth, but they would all be Reaper Exclusive maps.
