So Shepard is crashlanding on Thedas, and he realize that he must unite Thedas in order to defeat the Blight. And then he meets the Maker, and the Maker is all like:" I'll give you three options to save Thedas.. Control the Dark Spawn and die... Merge with the Dark Spawn and die... or Destroy the Darkspawn and all dwarfes will die, just cause... oh yea, Magic and the Fade will forever vanish in all three options. Choose."
The End.
The End.

The joke was funny for a bit, but now it's getting old.

not to mention, if magic and the fade were to vanish forever, that would not necessarily be a bad thing.... having mass relays gone, well, thats another story

yea..true, but it would be also extremly boring. and thats the point.. The Mass Effect universe without any mass effect is lame.. same with Dragon Age without any magic and/or the fade/demons/spirits/templer etc.

And if they take away magic, then there would be no Mages and the Templars would get bored!
