There is no artistic integrity in bad writing and the ME3 ending should be completely rewritten.

Artistic integrity- made for all on a scrap piece of paper, with lots of speculation for everyone. BioWare sold their artistic integrity to EA for stock options and prime parking spots at HQ. All of this "artistic integrity" BS is simply insult to intelligence.

No I didnt at first, and it doesnt change my point in any way because "Entwicklungspsychopathologische Verhaltensstörungen" is also a word people only use to look intelligent. B)
As a student whose friends are mainly working class, I know that kind of thing well enough. They always mock me when I use such words^^

And I dont usually point out typos except in cases such as these because if you are trying to look intellectual, a typo is a very amusing irony in the post.

As for your last point: Könnten wir. Bin nämlich auch deutsch ;)

As I said, I studied medicine and have no intentions to deny my academic origin. Using a term which is a valid classification of a psychiatric disorder is just the way I speak. I brought it up because I was accused of being offensive towards a part of our population by making fun of sick people, which I didn't do, so I clarified this by a correct and accurate denomination of the subject at hand. That is just a legit and reasonable argumentation to counter the inappropriate accusations.

Now that I have explained my intentions I would really like to know what point you intend to make by pointing out misspelling and accusing me of "trying to look intelligent"? Are you trying to look even more intelligent by that? No, that would be hypocritical.

You should never have to say your sorry for being precise.
Being better at something doesn't automatically make you a douchebag.

@L00p: Don't worry, I have no regrets. I`m just sick of "pro-enders" throwing around wild accusations, trying to get personal and insulting others without any given reasons. If ppl think I`m a douche, fine, but at least discuss with argumentations and not unnecessary hostility.

Really? Because few days ago both me and L00p were suspended for being at that level and you got told off for being so too just to lesser degree. Point being neither you, me or L00p have the moral high ground on this issue so I would appreciate it if you  don't pretend your above it.

I hear ya'.
It's almost impossible though.
IMHO it would be better to ban people not being able to discuss and not ban (lock) the threads.

Excactly.
And I sincerely believe these forums would be better banning the trolls instead of the people calling them out. But I digress.

First name wrong, it's Andrew thanks. Though amusing you went and turned stalker.

Yes, you do keep bringing up the blessings of banning and democracy on forums. Thankfully your cries are not heeded by the Powers that Be :)

Artistic Integrity - Dr Ray is bros with Mac Walters and will support him because that's what friends do.

I'm not really seeing it either, but we might as well argue about what the reality of the situation seems to be instead of trying to guess the weird redefinitions being used here. Bioware is *probably* not going to change their minds and invest millions of dollars in redoing the ending just because you can prove that artistic integrity has nothing to do with this.

Actually his crap did. They don't ban people for being nice.

But like said don't pretend your above it which is my point, especially when first thing you say in reply is name calling.

Anyhows given no more than 30 seconds into this thread you two have shown your true colours I think I'll leave it at that.

You proved my point, thanks.

So...let me get this straight, the one calling for bans for others, especially those he disagrees with, has himself been banned? Oh, how ironic, these things just light up my day....

I can see how well this 'rising above' is working

Not this again.

It doesn't matter if you think it was bad writing. Artistic integrity applies to what the writer wrote, and is not subject to your opinion on what's good and what's bad.

People need to just get over it. Gamers have been fighting for artistic rights for games for decades, and now some idiots want to fight against artistic rights for games just because it suits their preferences. No.

Excuse me?

If your name is, as you say, all over the net, I wouldn't have to stalk very much, would I?
You have posted your name here at BSN, in a thread discussing EA customer service, if you were wondering where I got it from. Satisfied? Or do you crave even more attention to yourself, like the troll you are.

My sentiments of you never speaking for me still stands. Alas, I am sure you will continue flamebaiting both me, slyguy and ohers, as you always have.

Also, you seem very disrespectful of the mod that banned us both, by starting THE EXACT SAME SH!T all over again in another thread. May you be banned for life, as I said before, and will probably next week say again. I KNOw I can't be alone wishing for this.

It's late, so it's bedtime for me folks - enjoy the troll.

This, pretty much.

The "artistic integrity" thing is just a mask for the problem of ownership. The spectator thinks he owns the work. He doesn't. That simple.

Spot on. I don't give two hoots about artistic integrity people keep relying on or developers. I don't see any need to soft coat what it really is and rightly is Biowares choice. Personally I think Bioware should just come out and explain it like the second sentence I put forth. They already stated the first sentence themselves.

If people don't like that then like I said, I have a box of tissues for them if require any but either way if they are adults then facing this reality should be bareable/understandable. As it stands now because Bioware is trying to not hurt their feelings and spare them with softly softly approach of which I am not, since I am a customer just like everyone else not a developer. I instead just state it how it is (without sugar coating it) and should be (imho).

Yeah, a lot of people invested a lot of time into the Mass Effect trilogy only to get a kick in the quad. Seriously the ending invalidates every thing Shepard has done and its' riddled with cheap attempts at pathos, and there are numerous plotholes.

Also they didn't subject the ending to peer-review. Seriouslyif they did it would be a lot more different.

artistic integrity is just a grouping of words. a phrase to describe something. it defines their stance on the subject at hand and i have no problem seeing or hearing them use it.

in the same vein, 'horrible' and 'ending' are words as well.

for me, im wondering which one of those words biowares more concerned about.

Ya'll are religious fundamentalists.  This "artistic integrity" religion is bullcrap, same as all fundi crap.  There is no such thing as "artistic integrity".  Show it to me.  Show me any evidence anywhere at any time that this magical ray or particle exists.  It is all in your friggin' MIND and nowhere else.  NO ONE HAS "ARTISTIC INTEGRITY" and no thing has "artistic integrity".  They are mere mealymouthed words to excuse whatever the f*ck you want to excuse.

Drop your religious nonsense and grab 'hold of the real world baby.
