Bugged Citadel side quests?

Hi guys,

I have Mass Effect 3 and am now near the end of the game, just before entering the Illusive Man's HQ. All but two other missions have been completed and every explorable system is at 100%. However, I  have two side quests on Citadel that seem to be bugged. In both instances, I've  gotten the materials to give to people, but I cannot select the NPC to  complete the mission. This directly impacts my success in this game  since each completed mission increases my 'war readiness' versus the Reapers at the end. The missions that I cannot complete are Citadel: Reaper Code Fragments and Citadel: Heating Unit Stabilizers. Again, I have acquired both the code fragments and the heating units, but cannot interact with the relevant NPC in order to complete. Thanks for any help you can provide.

you buy both from the specter req console one after you do the noveria side mission and the other after I believe priority Rannoch but you can check the wiki for confirmation

go to another section of the citadel (via elevator). then back again to the quest giver.

Thanks for your replies doomster1 and 3equis.

Doomster1, buying the mission materials isn't the problem; as I'd said, I have them. There is nothing left for me to purchase from the Specter store.

3equis, your suggestion to 'reboot' the mission status by leaving the area and then returning is a good one, but I've already tried that. In fact, I've left the Citadel for other planets and returned, exited the game and returned, etc. About the only thing I haven't done so far is completely reinstalled ME3. This is why I suspect that it's a software bug.

By the way, I've spoken to Origin's tech support and their answer was "Post it on the BW forum." So: any Bioware devs out there want to respond to this?

Let's do a step-by-step. Are the quest people highlighted with the nav point? They should be when you have the items they need. Are they still talking their piece? They sometimes do, sometimes don't.
Are they marked on the map? That's a biggie, they totally should be. After that, I'd think some save tinkering is in order, though I doubt the sidequests have been all mapped out yet.
