What is the first thought that comes to mind when you think about mass effect 3?

Agreed. I thought this game would be Bioware's crowning achievement. Instead, on so many levels, they have taken numerous steps backward. What a disappointment!

Reloading the last mission, checking all three options: They can't be serious. More confusion and dissapointment.
Still had some hope though. Surely I must have missed something. This is so bad compared to the rest of the game, there must be something obvious I have overlooked.
Checking the internet, seeing all the negative threads, realizing that 'Yup, they were indeed serious': Depression. More then is healthy for a reaction on a videogame ending, nonetheless I felt what I felt. And still do. We see what the DLC brings.

Really, when I was playing the game I felt like I was playing some demo or beta. It felt so unfinished, rushed. Few side quests, LI forgot I'm her LI (...) and other, bigger or lesser, slips and failures.

Wasted potential, indeed.
Even if they do make a reveal "this summer" that de-retards the ending (be it IT or w/e), so much time has passed, people have been pissed off for so long.
Not quite "too little too late", but close, very close.

As much as I don't expect much from the upcoming DLC there is this very small beam of hope I still have for the series because I loved it so much.. but you're right I feel like I've been mad for so long that hope keeps feeling more and more distant.

Ditto. Been playing multiplayer more then single player these days.DamonD7 wrote...
These days, the multiplayer. That's carried me on longer than the single player has at this point, though hopefully the Extended Cut will change that.
That and Ashley.

True, certain parts really did feel rushed. Especially the intro, I think that was very badly done. It was our first time on earth and we didn't even get to really feel connected to it. Maybe the little kid was soused to do that but I really didn't like that. When I played the demo I thought, oh this is just part of the intro not the whole thing...so sad I was wrong.
