Well after NOT FOCUSING ON THE ENDING FOR SO LONG

The first thing I think of now is Tuchanka and the Genophage cure. Thank god for that.

Simply a cluster****. I wrote on Twitter right after I beat it the first time,"ME3 was like having amazing sex with the perfect woman, but when you finish, you realize it was man the whole time. #whybioware"

disappointment and then disbelief that any professional writer in their right mind could possibly have thought that ending was good. Deus ex machina is the worst of all literary sins, and even a high school English student knows better.

I understand you pain, I know their are some people who like the ending but I've yet to hear an actual reason why. Do you have any idea? Just curious to why that is.

No, I don't. The concept is so foreign to me, I don't think I would understand it even if someone explained to me why. They might as well be using a langauge I don't understand. I would have to be someone wholly different than me in order to be able to empathetically vibe with someone and their emotional journey of liking this ending.

I figured, I don't know why I asked, it just baffles me how someone can say, oh I really liked the ending and I've yet to hear anyone say more than that.:?

Good journey, not great but it was enjoyable, and terrible ending.

I'm going to be honest and say I didn't enjoy the game completely. Walking up to total strangers, giving my input, or running around the galaxy collecting assets with the the scan system; it all felt bad. Unfortunately there's no changing the game. If I were the story director, I would of held off the Reaper's invasion until half way through the game and a good portion of 50% of the game would be used to explain the gap between ME2 and ME3 while performing more active planetary operations to collect stuff.

Seems like they ran out of ideas for maps and just stuck to doing MP maps instead while letting the scanner-War Asset acquisitions do the rest. A more simplified version of ME2's simplified version of ME1. I wanted to see planetary hubs again like revisiting Novaria, Feros, etc while doing random missions through contacts. And then when the half way marker hits: Cerberus assaults the Citadel, Shepard goes to Earth, approaches the committee, and Reapers invade.

For everyone that has already beat the game, I'm curious what the first thing that comes to mind. Whether it's positive, negative, random, one word or a whole paragraph please share what you feel.

* I want to kill the geth.
* I want to give legion to admiral xen for tinkering so we can permanelty find a solution to the AI problem.
* The reapers are abominations that must be eliminated.
* Shep is probably going to die..... :(
* The galaxy is screwed, there is no way to survive this.

Petulance.

From the fan base (pro- and anti-ending) for reacting the way it did about a video game and from Casey Hudson et. al. for basically writing an ending that f'd their own series basically for no other reason than they could. Kind of felt like they were doing it just so that no one else could us the ME universe anymore.

I think there is a lot bioware could have done throughout the game, I believe the time gap between 2 and 3 was only a year and a half. To me that is not enough time to get all the details that needed to be included into the game.

It's really sad if you people are so obsessed over the ending it's colored your perceptions of the entire game.

An airplane crashing shortly after take-off. No one survives.

Oh and the music, probably the best thing about the whole game imo.

That's not true, not only have rumors been saying there might be a mass effect 4 but it is known that casey hudson mentioned that he wants to "extend the amss effect universe" so I am expecting future installments of the series. I don't know how they will do it with this ending but...oh well I guess.. :/

Five minutes before the end is not the time to add a new theme to the trilogy. Its like a pilot coming in for a landing turning to his copilot and saying "Hey, watch this!", it didn't end well.
