Being a beer drinker, I'm not too crazy about hard liquors but I do like meself some good sake.
Me too, on special occasions.
Despise beer, too bitter and yeasty.
Usually I have wine and sometimes some good cider.

with friends: vodka; scotch.
by myself: whatever's around. preferably scotch, or port.
in a fancy place: a Manhattan.
my brother in law showed me how to make a Mojito. Now I can use all that mint growing in the yard...

Bruichladdich or Talisker scotch, neat. Or various beers - I'm a beer snob. Really a fan of Unibroue, though, particularly Fin du Monde.
You Sir, are a good man. Scotch is my favorite drink. I prefer peaty scotches usually like Laphroaig (possibly my #1) but also I enjoy a good glass of Highland Park or Macallan. Recently I tried some Aberlour, which is a light honey colored scotch with sweet, vanilla and smokey notes and light peaty flavor, I would highly reccomend it.
For other liquors, I'm a fan of pretty much everything, but scotch is the king as far as I'm concerned. For Gin I usually prefer Bombay Sapphire or Hendricks. With Vodka, I go towards Stoli or Kettle One usually. Tequila has alot of nice brands but 1800 is likely my recent favorite (Patron is seriously over priced). For bourbons, Maker's Mark, Woodford Reserve or Four Roses Single Barrel are all grand (Jack Daniels also should be mentioned but only as a "Sour Mash" whiskey, it's special!) Bah, I must not go on!
I drink beer all the time, favoring Guinness above all, but IPAs are also a great diversion. Bridgeport, a brewer out of Oregon, makes an excellent IPA and also has an even hoppier version called the Hop Czar. Ales are great, I usually go back to my British roots once again with Bass, but would reccomend Hobgoblin Ale from the Wychwood brewery.
Wine is another story too, and I love it but it's too extensive to talk about. The past few years I've been getting into Italian wines though, something I was truely ignorant of before finding a great Italian restaurant in my city years ago. Also I've been drinking a fair amout of mead in the past six months since the release of Skyrim for "immersion." And damn, I've learned why the Vikings raided so much. Mead's sugar and alcohol content is the cause of serious hangovers. Also, I'm a huge fan of sake.
Let's just say I drink most alcohol, just not Jägermeister, that's a girly man, girly woman drink. True master hunters drink Scotch and wear kilts. It takes a true man to wear a skirt and make it look manly!

Where are you getting mead from? The only mead I ever see is at homebrewers' club meetings, and damn little of that.

I think it's referred to as Rum and Coke here. I've rarely heard the name Cuba Libre said here.

There's a brewery in my home state that makes several types of mead. It's actually pretty good.

I don't "drink" really, only on certain occasions, but my preferences are; Pale/Medium Beer, Whiskey (the really smokey kind) and Sherry.
Apparently, you do.

The alchohol content in the mead drunk by vikings is actually estimated at between 1.5 and 2 %.

And if I want something stronger, it's Koskenkorva:
