I admit I cried when I finally "manned up" (As my first female run through no less) and sacrificed myself. (Namely what Sten said about my character to the other Qunari and Oghren naming his daughter after her. *sniff*)
I teared up a few times.

I have to admit. I didn't really enjoy the Alistair romance (It's like attempting to romance the Snuggles bear from the laundry commercials.), but when my character told him to stay and defend the gate because he'd have gone and done something foolish, it really choked me up to see his reaction.

Not cried, but there are some very powerful emotions evoked by this game. This playtrough will end tragically, however, my female elf mage will sacrifice herself, even though she is romancing Leliana. Wynne gave her that speech, and even though i chose uncharactestically (?) rude answers, it was clear that she is exactly right. Will not following on that advice lead to as great heartbreak as i imagine? Only the epilogue will tell, today or tomorrow. I am not looking forward to that, tough.
