I ran across this on Gamespot and found it quite amusing since they were one of BioWare's (unofficial) attack dogs regarding people who looked at the ending and went "WTH"?.
Gamespot "What Just Happened? - The End of ME3 Confessionals"
It sounds like they finally played the game instead of just talking out of turn. The funny thing is only one guy, Aaron Sampson, liked the ending and it still required a lot of speculation and guessing for him resolve it. You hear the words, "I think" and "I thought" a lot in the video.
Hey one of the guys in the video, Kurtis Seid, even asks the obvious question; "Didn't destroying a mass relay in 'arrival' destroy a star system? Aren't we doing the same thing here with all mass relays"
The funny thing is even with the "I thinks" and the what just happened, they still stick by the "ending" I think they are as confused as we are. Kurtis starts off by saying the ending should not be changed, it should have been good "first off" - huh? He then says it is not up to BioWare to go back and change all the problems - acknowledging there are problems (where have we heard that?). He says BioWare should ignore the problems and go on to the next project. Again, huh?
Chris Waters thinks the ending went on too long; should have guess what? not included the star-god-child-thing.
Lastly Tom McShea has fallen into the Indoctrination Theory camp citing guess what - plot holes.
Final tally; One video contributer liked the ending but it took a lot of speculation and fill-in-the-blanks. One video contributer didn't like the ending but feels delivering what is advertised is irrelevant and BioWare should move on. One video contributer has joined the Indoctrination Theory camp, and one felt the ending was too long and the star-child-god thing was unnecessary. For the record, I could have accepted this.
