Where is my old crew? Why have I been "under constant surveillance?" What just happened? 
After playing for a while and realizing that the developers have no intention of actually filling me in, I did a brief internet search and discovered that there are several stories, mainly in comic form, that explain the events between ME2 and ME3. What a rip off!
I understand filling in details with such add-ons can add depth to the game, but AT LEAST give me a brief summary of events in the intro for goodness sake!! I get the distinct feeling that this is just Bioware's attempt to milk as much money from loyal fans as possible. What a joke. Out of spite I refuse to buy any retail copies of the additional material.
