So I just headed out to get rid of the two darkspawn generals before finally tackling their boss. I got rid of both of them and the quest log entries showed that both of them had been killed. Then I moved on to the Palace District, and after the interlude at the gates, when the rest of my companions had defeated the darkspawn, the quest log suddenly said that the darkwspawn in the marketplace were gone and perhaps the general would show up later. He was definitely logged as killed before the Defending the Gates quest, I reloaded an earlier save and went through the marketplace and alienage again, with the same result. Has anyone else had this happening?
