Dune.
Credits plz!
As to the Kishok... I love it, but I almost always host. It seems to work very well for me, and it's a nice short-range sniper rifle for most of the ME3 maps, since they're all practically hug-fests they're so small.

Not true. kishock x has only 160 (more or less) higher damage. Other effects will not change. That means that kischock x will still not penetrate atlas any more than kishock I and will still have delay until it reaches the target and so on.
Testing of killing time of specific target should be done on level 1 or level 10 for both weapons, but comparing usefulness is not affected by different weapons.

Kishok X with Extended V and Piercing V vs Widow X with Extended V and Piercing V and vs the Widow X with AP 1 instead of Piercing V on Gold Atlas.Sereaph502 wrote...

May do comparisons using a Geth Prime later.

there is not enough difference to reduce the number of shots needed BUT ...
pause 0.21 first Atlas (AP pierce mod) video - effect on shield for the fist hit (3 bars damage)
pause 0.14 second Atlas (AP ammo ) video - effect on shield for the first hit (4 bars damage)
(AP ammo has no effect vs shield - widow will penetrate and hit twice without it)
This IMO is evidence that AP mod in fact lowers damage (is it lower on both shots ? or only on the one after penetration ?) - a more refined test would have to be devised ...But now I'm re-testing the armor Weakness effect ..

You do know that equipping an Ammo bonus like AP and Warp have a damage boost right? I'm not sure about AP ammo 1, but I know that AP ammo 3 has a 30% damage bonus, so its not that the AP mod lowers the damage of each shot it's just not giving you a bonus like the ammo does.

I noticed that the Kishock doesn't seem to deactivate cloak, perhaps this is where the value lies for it as an infiltrator weapon. Maybe take 2 cloaked shots if there's time enough? Perhaps a shot and a power while still cloaked? Could prove an interesting change of strategy.

Anyone know what the second scope on the top left hand corner is directed at?
I'll take a wild stab and say it has the same use as the second barrel on most of the guns in game - it looks cool. Although I guess it could be because it's a batarian weapon, 2 eyes on each side and all.

14. It has 2 scopes for 4 batarian eyes. When scoped, look in the top left and you will see second scope :3

2. The scope is terrible. It adds flavor, but it is terrible.
3. The harpoon is slooooooooow. It gets dodged handily.
4. Not only is it slow, there is a minor delay on fire compared to other sniper rifles (excluding Javelin, which is much slower on fire delay).
5. Because the projectile moves slowly and arcs, non-host lag destroys accuracy.
6. AP mod is useless, it doesn't auto penetrate like the Holy Trinity (BW, Widow, Jav).
7. On the plus side, it doesn't suffer hip-fire (no-scope) power reduction.
It's basically a more accurate, heavier, slower ROF, and less damaging Graal Spike Thrower. I tried it extensively on Gold and then cried in a corner for a while before swapping back to my Widow.
