Dear Snipers:bandit:,

I appreciate what you bring to the team, I really do. Your ability to take out a significant portion of health, armor, shields with one bullet, it's great it really is, but please, please, please stop shooting the enemies I have pulled. I grow weary of taking down a Maurader's shields and pulling him the middle of group of cannibals and as I about to detonate my pull, you with all you long range abilities decide to take out my pulled enemy. Please, he will die regardless, let me detonate him so that the other enemies around him will be injured. Please shoot enemies that I'm not about to explode, it's not about the score, it's just about common sense and working together.

Thanks for your consideration,
An Adept:wizard:

In general... stop targetting things that are being set up for explosions. There is plenty of stuff to go around, shoot something else.

I get the same problem when warping a target. I don't get to complete the AoE BE which does more damage and elimination than a single sniper shot, or whatever they shot my fuse with.

I rarely see an adept detonating. I'm N7 150 and I've been in less than a dozen games where pulled enemies have been detonated. Usually what happens is they're left to tumble harmlessly to the floor before getting back up and shooting you in the back. Until I know I've got one of the rare adepts who know how to detonate, I shoot anything that moves.

I'm with you on that OP.
I also leave people's heavy melee targets alone too.

I don't know what kind adepts you play with but mosty I play with detonate their pulled enemies, I would say give your adept a chance before you start taking away their detonations.

I love Asari/Drell adept, and it's soooo lame if they kill your biotic detonator. It's often that 5+ pyro's approach on gold. I warp the closest, or one that's easy to target again. Wich one get sniped? the warped one. 5 secs later they get overrun. When i'm not inerrupted, i can kill the whole group with 1-2 exlosions, sometimes 5+ pyro's/hunters/rocket launchers (geth) die in one blow. And there's still plenty of scattered foes after that.

Imo sniper should take the scattered ones, and hunters. Those are the biggest threat for a break throug your defence.

Another nice strategy is keep your explosion on the big targets (prime, atlas), ignore the ones beside it. Cause your explosions kill them anyhow :) Although here it's not a crime to kill them next to you (they die either way), if there's other targets, snipers might focus on those first.

this is not a problem. i got a better one for you:

dear vangaurds. STOP DOING ANYTHING! seriously all they do is get theirself and the team killed. i applaud a good vangaurd but they are extremely rare and a bad vangaurd pulls down everyone with him because every idiot tries to revive the vangaurd no matter what is trampling over his body they simply charge after him yelling "MUST REVIVE!!!!" okay maybe thats a tad to much but dear god i hate having to clean up after a vangaurd only to see his score is the best in the end of the round. at the expense of everyone else

I always seem to end up on maps with 3 snipers, none of whom will let me get a single detonation off.  Which means we always lose. :(
So I support sending this letter to every player who even owns a sniper rifle.

As a Vanguard, mind if I charge them, or run up and Nova? I'll detonate that pull/warp/reave for you, and finish the surrounding 8 enemies too :)

I'm not everywhere *shrugs*  If they were going to detonate at all, I'd see it flashing up in the killbox at some point. If I know they're going to do something with it then I'll leave them alone, but most of the time their weapons are so heavy (sniper, shotgun) that they can't detonate before the pull duration is off.

When I play vanguard, I will do this on occasion to help detonate, but then i run back to the team right after, maybe taking some shots while backing up, or toss a few lift grenades.

Dunno what sort of bad luck you're getting, but biotic explosions are our bread and butter. I like infiltrators but I have noticed that my explosion count starts to drop when I have one in group, because I'm constantly losing my set up to a trigger happy sniper who hasn't figured out that they shouldn't be shooting the staggered, glowing blue dudes. After a certain point, you just give up.

It's the worst for Drell simply because all we have without using our grenades is Pull+Reave, which means we can only pull enemies without armor.

So lets use the Geth again, if I pull a regular geth thats close to a group of pyros and then a sniper shoots him, besides using up my grenades, which I like to save for emergenices, I have no way to detonate them, Reaving and shooting is all I have left.

Depends on the difficulty. Bronze? Nah. Silver? Depends on if the team backs me up as long as I keep enemies in their line of sight. Gold? You bet I'll be back as soon as threat is relieved/removed.

EDIT: actually... makes me kind of feel like a puppy dog fetching the BE.

Wonderful when you try to impose a little crowd control and all your attempts are thwarted not by the enemy but by your teammates lol :|

As long as it's getting detonated I don't care who does it, it's just such a waste for a primed enemy to be killed by a sniper shot.

Snipers should focus on swarmers. Hate those things.

As much as I would love to call myself omnipresent, I can only access those enemies within my field of vision. I cannot kill every enemy and I do not target or follow adepts. They would be mightily unlucky to have only targeted things that I also had my sights on. I usually play a support role so I rarely get more than a quarter or at best a third of kills. That leaves plenty left for them to detonate.
