Adepts are Support/Dps classes they have stasis/singularity to help the team by pushing back or suspending the enemy the fact you don't want the other DPS to shoot at that and focus fire on Phantoms, Marauders, Hunters, etc proves you can't work as a team if that really bugs you when playing an adept don't play one then.

I thought people just confused Warp with Battlefield's "mark target". Fukkin annoying.

I feel your pain OP. Just like Asari Adepts on Gold who Stasis Bubble and Pistol scope everything (even armored targets) when an entire army of mobs is Reaved (by my Asari Justicar).
Had that kind of crap several times the last few days and THIS HURTS ME (and the whole team).

As a Vanguard, mind if I charge them, or run up and Nova? I'll detonate that pull/warp/reave for you, and finish the surrounding 8 enemies too :)

After I learned that charge does detonate warped or stasis targets I try to team up with a vanguard to the best of my abilities as every charge saves me a throw.

P.S. I also hate adepts who don't know how to work with other biotics though. I recently played with another asari adept who refused to work together. If I painted an enemy with warp they would throw another warp on before using throw. If I put someone in stasis they would shoot them rather than detonating them. It got annoying to have to work so hard to be able to use a BE when I had another adept in the team =/ Thats why I like being teamed up with drell adepts or Asari justicars with my AA. The two power sets work so nicely together.

About three nights ago, my AA got in a lobby with a Drell Adept. He ran around Reaving things while I Tossed at them, and there was Biotic Explosion goodness all around.

And then around Wave 6, he got on his mic and started yelling at me for leeching off him.

I hung out with the turian sentinel after that. Sadness.

Aww... that's so douchey! I would never do that with any of my Adepts. I love making things explode with other people. I think it's magic.

Also, that song in your signature is ear crack. Are you Belgian, by chance?

One of the fastest set of games i every played was me as drell adept my friend as asari vangaurd and 2 other adepts don't remeber the races. We ran silver like it was bronze. finishing in like 17-18 min. which for the groups i get in  it is usually around 25 min.

I coordinate with my friend when i can't detonate my own stuff let him know when i have reaved the banshee/brute or whatever then he hits it with throw or warp and magic happens. can drop a banshee on silver rather quick doing that

I agree. I frequently play sentinel/vanguard and I always like to set up explosions with adept teammates. Nothing is more annoying than Xx1337sn1p3rxX with his Black Widow thinking he's captain badass and killing enemies before the explosion goes off.

yeah lol, happens all the time on bronze. as an adept i get "kill-steal" all the time but I don't mind. over at gold/silver though it's rarely a problem for me. Plenty to go around, so I always get to asplode stuff, and players generally know what they're doing.

Every time I play my human vanguard, I try to figure out which biotic I'm gonna follow around as their personal bouncer.

Then try to warp detonate everything they set up. It seems to work pretty well, when people actually use biotics that is...

I rarely see an adept detonating. I'm N7 150 and I've been in less than a dozen games where pulled enemies have been detonated. Usually what happens is they're left to tumble harmlessly to the floor before getting back up and shooting you in the back. Until I know I've got one of the rare adepts who know how to detonate, I shoot anything that moves.

I've only just managed to unlock an Asari adept, I'm running around with a Shuriken X and an SMG with ULM for 200% cooldown.
I do nothing BUT detonate and Stasis.

Incidentally - If I do Stasis on an enemy then Warp, does the detonation benefit from the warp det spec?

Dear adepts, i'll tell you my priorities when sniping.
Since these days i snipe only on geth infliltrator, i am squishy (very squishy in fact) so my first priority is to kill those who could take a shot on me. I won't let that trooper live just so you can blow him up at the cost of my own life. Remember, on gold even the basic guys hurt and i'm very very squishy.Second is keeping team mates alive. If a pyro is buring the crap out of our buddy i will kill it regardless of it being warped or not.Third is the enemies i hate with a passion. Ravagers, turrets, hunters, phantoms. I will kill these guys whenever i'm not busy with the above two points.
Also, since i  use the valiant (still no black widow :crying:) instead of one shot snipers on gold, if i target something like a marauder you will not have the time to pull it, one headshot for the shield another for the health :) Unless of course you shake my screen at the moment i pull the trigger :pinched: Maybe your problem is with people using one-shot snipers on gold on a class that has no ability to strip shields and are thus looking for health only/already shield stripped targets? Also, people seem to believe you should not snipe bosses on gold, but killing them incredibly fast is the only reason you should ever bring a javelin or widow to gold on a geth infliltrator.

If i'm sniping on silver or bronze i won't bother you anyway since i'll be busy doing javeling+wallhack mode fun

I highly doubt that claim.

Three easy enemies is a far more plausible number than Gankstah's outlandish claims.

I play an asari adept with a 200 recharge rate. I just spam warp and throw all over the board. I get billions of explosions even with a full team of snipers. If you're spamming hard enough you don't need to worry about particular targets being hit or not.

One quick advice that 99% biotics here won't care about. Try to find a friend and have each of you spam 1 part of the detonating duo like reave + warp with reave being the finisher since it's much easier to land, or just spam both like crazy, and when the it hits the fan - use lift and cluster nades and reposition. Stick to reliable tactic of wingman + wingleader, i.e. one player keeps sticking to the other, and noone will have the time to steal your detonations

Interesting thread, I got nothing more to add so I'll just say -

Dear Everyone,

I just shot your target through a wall with the Javelin.  *whispers I'm sorry...

(the best is on FB Glacier, through the windows, it's awesome, everyone is in the thick of it and I'm safely behind glass exploding domes, again...I'm sorry)...

Respectfully yours,

All classes

You can kill three cannibals or troopers in a single cloak with the valiant. I'm not that good at aiming so i only get two usually. Headshot kills them instantly, bodyshot takes 2 hits or 3 if cannibals have the armor on them. Headshot one and two body shots in the other is pretty easy. Killing 1 marauder and 1 cannibal is also possible in 1 cloak, but you have to land all 3 headshots. Let's assume 2 cloak cycles for the time it takes to do an explosion. In that you can snipe 4-6 cannibals or 2 marauders and possibly 2 cannibals as a bonus.

Marauder, centurion, nemesis, rocket trooper, phantom all die from 2 headshots on gold. Also, with pyros you can control if you want them dead instantly or to explode by placing the third shot on the head or the tank.

I was playing a game earlier where whenever a boss got down to their armor, and I COULD kill it with 2-3 biotic explosions, but our Engineers/Infiltrators just kept spamming overload on it, resetting my combo. WHY DO YOU SPAM OVERLOAD ON ARMOR????!

Well it's not like it happens every single time, thats not what I was trying to get on about in this thread, it's just sometimes during at match it will happen as often as it doesn't and that gets annoying because the armored enemy next to the one i've got primed would have been a much better target for the sniper.

Also stop interupting biotics by using overload or energy drain on targets that have been warped (especially when there are plenty of other targets around).

Yeah, Singularity snipers are a pain in the ass. I haven't noticed Warp snipers so much though, I guess because it doesn't hold targets still so much.

Though what's really, truly annoying is when someone puts a Widow round into a two-bar Cerberus Trooper I'm halfway through finishing off with a heavy melee.

Let's assume 2 cloak cycles for the time it takes to do an explosion.

Let's not.

The cloak on a Salarian Infiltrator has a recharge of 3.70 sec when equipped with the Valiant I, and when specced for Recharge.

Most Asari Adepts choose to keep their Recharge at 200%, since they never fire a shot. So Warp, specced for Recharge, is 2.22 sec. Throw, even assuming you took the Force & Damage branch at the end of the Power Wheel instead of Recharge, is 1.23 sec. The Adept sets up the Biotic Explosion, and is ready to set up another before (3.45 sec) the Infiltrator has even started their 2nd cloak cycle.

So, no, even assuming that the Adept didn't spec SPECIFICALLY for Recharge, and assuming that they aren't working with another Adept to set up wicked sick team combos, they still definitely would NOT take 2 cloak cycles to set up a single explosion.

The latter, and just 'cause Gotye is Belgian. I don't know a lot of people outside of Europe who know that song, so I just wondered.

That is true, it's just that there are many noob adepts out there who think bringing a widow and a claymore is a good idea and will do nothing but shoot. In order to take your advice, the 99% of biotics have to find a lobby with another biotic who actually uses their biotics.

Or a good techie for the tech bursts.
