No matter how much I try to sit and think over the game/ending. Then go and play through the endings again. I still only come to one conclusion and feel like there was something missing and was more to the story than we saw. I had that feeling on my first play of ME3. So I am interested in seeing where this content Bioware is working on leads to.

I sort of liked it on the first playthrough and thought it just needs some clarification (so summer sorts that out) when playing Renegade. As I just ignored the Starchild figuring it was some kind of Reaper defence somehow squeezed in and blew them up ignoring it.

Then I played as my Paragon and it became apparent that no end really allowed a resolution in a Paragon style as killing the Reaper's involved genocide of the Geth and the murder of EDI. At that point I shifted from simply thinking it was a bit sloppy to feeling disappointed that the ending seemed to ignore one of the two major play styles of the franchise and that they had missed such an incredible opportunity.

I've accepted that it's awful and that the extended ending DLC won't change it.

(emphasis mine)

I think that this thought is the reason why IT became so big.  I disagree completely, in favor of thinking it a monumental failure of epic proportions, but yeah...I can see that.  My initial reaction was, "WHAT DID I DO WRONG?!"  That has now shifted into what Bioware did wrong.

I would like to see Bioware "fix" the ending, but I concede that at this point in time there is literally nothing they can do to make me happy.  I'm just hoping for something that won't leave me pissed off/angry/bitter/etc. when I replay ME3 again next year.
