It's like a dead animal. It will smell worse and worse as things decompose (and things are decomposing fast for Bioware). But eventually the body decomposes into nothing and the stink goes away...

Whether the execution of what they were trying to do sucked or not, doesnt change the fact that it just does not belong in mass effect. So regardless of extended cut it sucks now and it will still suck after summer

When I first saw it I was trying to force myself to like it and think it was somewhat decent. Then during the credits I realized how much I hated it and have felt the same way ever since.

Taken at face value, I disliked and still dislike the ending.
However, I believed it was a work in progress when i was hoping for IT and now believe it is a work in progess while waiting for the DLC. My stance remains that I'm trying not to have an opinion at all.

Nope, for a great game, it still gonna be the biggest downside. I'd love ME1 and ME2 so much, and then ME3 was amazing up until the ending.

there is not one redeming asspect to this ending and "clarifacation" will only make it that much worse. cant put roses on crap to make it smell better, and that is what the ec is, just a rose they want to throw on the BS that is this ending
the whole damn ending needs to be remade and quick if bioware wants to survive this

There is literally nothing Bioware could do to make any of you happy. It's impossible. They could give you the bro ending drinking with Garrus and little blue aliens and a few hundred of you would probably put up a billboard saying something stupid like "HAPPY ENDINGS IN MY MASS EFFECT? I DON'T THINK SO. SHEPARD DESERVES A DEAD ENDING. YOU'VE RUINED MY LIFE BIOWARE"

I like it a bit more now then I did when I first played it. I wanted more closure at first, but I sort of like thinking up headcannon. I'm still excited for the extended cut. I mainly just want them to address the normandy plothole.

It does. It's like Bioware forgot they were giving us the ending of Mass Effect and gave us something thematically similar to Battlestar instead. Oh, and they forgot that the ending of Battlestar was terrible.
