Is this payback for complaining about the ending?

Yesterday after the DLC my game would crash during multiplayer matches. Now after the patch my game crashes at the main menu. Is this payback for fan complaints?

It's probably not, but it certainly seems that way.

I highly doubt it, however you never can tell.
But to be honest this is more reputation damaging toward a company than anything.
Basically they just broke their own product.
Buying a broken product pisses people off.
Rule #1 for any business, is, "Don't ****** off your customers!"
The problem is that all the facts are already pointing to a large consumer base (majority) of consumers are already pissed off about the endings. Even more are pissed off that they are being kept out of the multiplayer circle by being excluded from Weekly/Weekend events and promotions. (PS3 owners)
And then there are the people who can't get their "Commendation/Victory Packs" because it was too easy for some jerks to glitch and cheat the system. (Every Platform)
And now even more people are pissed about not even being able to connect to EA servers without freezing at the main menu.
So far BioWare/EA's track record with this game is just about pissing people off. And if we learn this is intentional or this doesn't get fixed overnight... then they risk pissing, "every-single-player-to-have-played-this-game-thus-far"... right the eff off.

I loaded up the game today, downloaded the patch, was told I couldn't connect to EA servers, downloaded the Resurgence dlc, queued up for multiplayer (still with the warning sign that I wasn't connected to the EA server), saw the new classes on unlockable condition and jumped into a game.
I don't know if Xbox live was hosting the game, so that it didn't matter if I was connected to EA, but it was very weird that it kept warning me.
