We have narrowed down this issue but are still looking for some answers from those encountering this issue. If you are still crashing please answer the following:

Which Country/City are you in?
When you crash/lockup are you able to press the Xbox main button to bring up the dashboard?
When you crash/lockup are there any animations still playing/text scrolling/anything moving on the screen?
If you unplug your ethernet cable are you able to continue into single player?

- As soon as I patched. I think around 10am Pacific.
- Yes. As soon as I get to the "Connecting to EA servers" part of the main screen (before I even have the option of choosing multiplayer, single player, etc.) my Xbox 360 completely freezes. I have to hard reboot it. Eventually it works (sometimes only takes 1 reboot, sometimes more), but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when it works and when it freezes my 360.

*Insert Disc 1 or 2
*Play The Game
*Download Patch
*Restart Xbox
*Remove the Cache by heading to System > Memory > Pressing Y
*Insert Disc 1
*Play Game
*Download Patch
*Restart Xbox if it does not work, and repeat.

This did not work for my friend, so he tried using Disc 1 and then Disc 2 instead.
This has also worked when I restarted the game.

Behavior - I was playing 10th round of gold then it kicked me off immediately and told me to update then froze my xbox. connected to EA servers and froze again.
Occurrence - 6:55am Eastern time. It worked again 30-40 minutes later.
then 12 hours later around the exact same time started crashing again.
Am i logging on - Yes it worked after waiting again for almost an hour, Though I'm not turning off my xbox or leaving multiplayer for awhile.

Good luck with the investigation, hope something in there helps.

I've not modded any files.
I did not notice any odd issues during patching.
I started crashing immediately after the patch, approximately around 5:00pm EST. After 3 reboots, I was able to get in and play about 5 games. Game froze during one game, end of wave 9.
I'm now crashing every time I open ME3. Unable to play SP or MP. Crashed during "connecting to EA servers".

It took longer than i though 4mb should but i also have crapy internet so that could've been on my end

- No mods/pirating/etc. Installed the Resurgence pack last night and I have the Collector's Edition stuff downloaded as well.
- Nope, I installed it, it played perfectly. Then I turned off my Xbox, turned it back on and it froze at the connecting to EA pop-up thing
- I guess 12 - 2ish pm (Eastern time)
- YEEESSSS ;___; I tried disc 2, playing under a diff profile and then switching to mine, and other stuff...it won't play.

Well, I got past the EA server login part, and now I'm in the multiplayer menu awaiting my friend's game invite.

So far so good. For any who haven't tried it yet, don't just clear your cache. Try deleting the multiplayer update pack as well and redownloading it too.

If the crash happens to me again, I'll post all of my info.

Time: When I downloaded the patch, it was working, then when I turned the game off and tried to play Mass Effect again, it was stuck on the "Connecting to EA Servers". Since then I tried to restart the game multiple times to no avail.

- Are you still crashing (please check right before you post)?: No, After clearing my cache to my 250 gb xbox 360 slim I was able to connect to the EA Server at 7:30 pm . I don't know how long this will work but here's hoping.
