Yes/No.. I no longer freeze/crash at connecting to EA Servers, but I get STUCK at the checking downloadable content and it never goes to the main menu. Somehow, the atuo-logon of EA Servers is off, and I have to connect, which it does.

Makes the game unplayable with the current setting.

 because the first time the dlc file was corrupt

Aditional info. I am from Mexico city and i don´t have a good level in speak or write english skills.

Update: Now freeze in the cheking dlc in spanish is "comprobando contenido descargable".

No it downloaded right away earlier today with no problems..
What time did you start crashing?
Around 5:00pm CST, it had been working just fine earlier when I downloaded the patch and played MP for about an hour but then I switched over to Kingdoms of Amalur for a few hours and when I came back to ME3.
Are you still crashing (please check right before you post)?
No, I was able to get back in once the patch re-downloaded after clearing the cache on the HD.

A friend of mine had his Xbox heat up upon downloading the patch. I dunno if anyone else has had this problem, but I thought I'd bring it up.

That would be I, yes my console (new edition) started to sound like a 747 taking off...

I had to unplug the thing because the off button was not responding. This has never happened before, until after I DLed the patch.

Ok so I had a theory about the crash being associated with my gamer tag. So I created a new XBL gamer tag, used the 2 day coupon that came with the game to get on gold and voila was able to start the game and log in to multiplayer without a hitch. Then I tried switching over to my primary gamer tag and it froze the game/system again.

Sounds like a re-download of your primary gamertag would solve the issue.

Well, I got past the EA server login part, and now I'm in the multiplayer menu awaiting my friend's game invite.

So far so good. For any who haven't tried it yet, don't just clear your cache. Try deleting the multiplayer update pack as well and redownloading it too.

If the crash happens to me again, I'll post all of my info.

Thank you, I tried this and now it's working (for now). Keeping my fingers crossed. I guess the problem is the Resurgence Pack...?

Further information: Xbox 360 Slim, 250GB HD, both discs installed, Collector's edition of the game with all relevant DLC installed.
