So the last update on this was three months ago?

The problem happens to me when I tell the game not to auto sign-in to the EA servers on start up.

the problem there i have its the next. i started the new update and my xbox restarted normally, but when i tried to start my game play only can see a black screen just after to see your EA logo, i tried erase everithing and play offline but i have the same result, only can play whit other gamertag, this happen until that date an now i have the same problem, i wanna play and need your help, and too i wan ask u if u have some workers to can speak with me in spanish because im mexican.

When you crash/lockup are there any animations still playing/text scrolling/anything moving on the screen?
If you unplug your ethernet cable are you able to continue into single player?

- What time did you start crashing?
- Are you still crashing (please check right before you post)?

Start crashing: After i finished my 1st playthrough and wanted to start my 2nd playthrough, to be precise, after i picked my character, 2 months back
Still crashing: Yes, i checking evry couple of days, and i can't get past the title screen. I can get past the screen when i don't sign in to my Gamertag.

I'm really fed up with this. The only solution Bioware/EA can come up with, is to use a other Gamertag, but that's not i want. I want to use my normal Gamertag for the achievements. Bioware should at least compensate us for this.

I dont know if location or anything has anything to do with it but im in the uk and the first time game crashed on my xbox was when you enter the geth memory core what ever its called and when tried again its just a long pause glitch but now im crashing quite regulary now since the new multiplayer platinum came out,crashed couple times but now im lucky I can complete a game with out it crashing again when try again I dont know if the infinite missile they patched has made it worse to crash quite regulary or its the map,s all together has anyone encountered this aswell

Its usually between wave 3 and 7 other waves theres no sign of it slowing down or anything theres a little pause right at start before the box saying wave 1 comes up other wise its just slow communicating to find a match my internets fast that was first thing I looked at when it first did it but now ive read this I now know theres a problem

- ODD Behavior... YES! From the very beginning, every time I started the game, right after the EA ME3 Splash screen, I would get a message stating something similar to "the logged on user has changed", and I had to press the A Button. The game then reset (because the EA ME 3 Splash screen would show again) but after the second start it would go on to the start screen, where I could press the start button. Since the first crash, the message no longer gets shown but the game hangs right at the point where I would usually get the "user has changed" message.

- First Time of Crash is months ago. Have not been able to play since which is really making me disappointed!
- I check every couple of days if the game works again.

I was on my second play thru, almost at the end when the game hung for the first time. I had to reset the XBox because using the Guide Button to get back to the dashboard does not work. I will try to disconnect the network cable to see if it then continues. 

As far as I remembere the crash happend before any patch was released.

I have also tried clearing my cache it has not helped at all.

I am playing in Kerpen Germany.

The Animations freeze and I cannot use the guide button to get back to the dashboard. I have to turn the xbox off.
However the animations freeze so close to the begining that it makes it look like a black screen. But I assume it is actually at the beginning of the fade in of the start screen animation.

I hope this info helps but still......

I am really disappointed in Bioware / EA. I have been with ME since Day one!  (ME1 ME2 ME3) I hate to see it end like this. It is just so sad. This was one of the best games ever made!!! And now is is being ruined by an error. I've been playinig games for decades and have NEVER been so dissapointed.

And the solution: "just play the game using a different Account IE Gamer Tag" IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! Sure, it works.. which just tells me that the problem is somehow connected to my Bioware / EA account..  which then leads me to be EVEN MORE DISSAPOINTED because I have been with the franchise from day one... and this is how you treat your long life customers????? I am the guy that actually DEFENDS EA from all my EA bashing friends and kids. I support EA, I root for EA, I live EA... I mean hell I have been playing (and buying) EA games since the 1980's for christ sake! I still remember the first commercials with the two guys discussing an EA Sports game. The one guy was questioning wanted features of the game and the other just kept (cooly) saying "it's in the game". "I bet the Quarterback can't do .." It's in the gaaame".. well I bet the reciever can't... "It's IN the game!"..

So now when my kids complain about the ME3 bug I just have to say "It's in the game" or what????

I've been playing the game just fine for months, single player multiple playthroughs and a lot of multiplayer.
August 8 at 7 AM Central I finish playing a couple MP matches and the game won't load anymore. The xbox works fine otherwise, no connection issues, other games play well. ME3 doesn't work regardless of which disc I put in. It freezes exactly the same place each time. The Bioware screen, then the 'earth is burning' screen, then it freezes black. Everything stops, including any friend status animations, and the guide is powerless. I have to get up and reboot the xbox manually.
I was able to delete and redownload the title update before one of the freezes, but it hasn't changed the problem. I am unable to even play single player. I don't see any help for anybody on this thread, but I paid a lot for this game and will miss it if I suddently have it taken away. Please help.

EA customer service has now had me delete everything from my hard drive, including all three playthroughs, they've made me dedicate ports on my router, other useless wastes of time. THE PROBLEM IS ON YOUR SIDE, EA!!!!!!!!!

im from guadalajara mexico and is the same problem i cant play whit my gamer tag (online and offline), only whit an other gamer tag

 i recently started on my 2nd play through of me3 1st play through went smooth no freezes or loss of sound. currently im on the mission where you can save tali admiral or the fleet. as soon as you save him he jumps in the vehicle with sheppard then the game goes to a loading screen.. after the load the admiral will appear to sheppard talking about he did the right thing by saving him.. during the conversation the game frezes.. i have to reset my 360 just to see the scren again.. this isnt the only mission it freezes on.. it also freezes during the genophage missions.. whats going on with my game and how does it get fixed.. like i mentioned before it played through both discs fine the 1st play through.. now it seems as though  only disc 1 doesnt freeze.                                                                                       gamertag  tino2crucial va        modified content no     did it freeze after patch   i believe so because i got all my updates and dlc at the same time.       when did it start freezing   during the genophage mission and now during talis mission

downloaded the newest dlc.. played for a while and suddenly it crashed. Now im not able to get even in the game :-( It gets stucked while starting up so im not even coming into the menu! Yes I cleared my catch so that should not be a problem also other games just play fine! sniff.. :-/ Leviathan is waiting for me hehe.. hope this can be fixed!

I've been experencing some crashes in the middle of matches. The console freezes and requires a hard reset. Pressing any buttons on the controller does not help.

Had a strange incident today when one of the Banshees got too close to my character. The textures started warping from her all over the screen and I couldn't see anything. After a minute or so, the game froze. I've experienced game freezes in Multiplayer before, but this was the first time it froze after the graphical glitch.
