- Yes, but the only thing responding is the Y button to connect to the EA servers, plus the aforementioned Xbox guide button.
- Wireless.

Yes
Yes (I freeze on the main menu but the ticker at the bottom of the galaxy at war map keeps scrolling)
Don't use a ethernet cable, got a 360 slim so I don't need it

Ok, so here is what I did.
Deleted patch (cache)
Deleted DLC (resurgence)
Logged into game, did NOT patch game.
Turned off Auto Login
Logged out, downloaded resurgence from marketplace again
Logged In without downloading patch
Turned auto login on again
Started over and then accepted patch
Now can play both SP and MP... for now. Will see how long it lasts.
OH YEAH:
Have CE Edition in US with Ashes and all other applicable downloads.
Ok, I know this workaround takes awhile..... but so far, after two days, I am still just fine and dandy on MP and SP.
SO... for those who still want to get on and play, just try it. A couple people have and seem to find themselves back in the world of ME3 (even with the crappy endings)

Patcher: Installed fine
Patcher Time: 04/11/2012 0545 (was kicked offline for the update)
Current
Time: 04/12/2012 2209 CST
System info: Xbox Elite 120GB HDD
DLC info: N7 Warfare pack, From Ashes, Resurgence Pack, Online Pass
Which Country/City are you in? Panama City, FL, USA
When you crash/lockup are you able to press the Xbox main button to bring up the dashboard? Yes
When you crash/lockup are there any animations still playing/text scrolling/anything moving on the screen? Yes
If you unplug your ethernet cable are you able to continue into single player? Yes
Additional info: I have gone into single player to turn off the "auto-log into EA server" then plugged my ethernet cable back in and returned to the dashboard. I will have the overlay now saying "Checking downloadable content" and load loop but in the background it will accually pop-up the "resume; new game; load game; multiplayer; download content" menu on the left. on the right I can hit "Y" to connect to EA servers. At this point I can hit "Y" and connect without a hitch. I will see the "Galaxy At War" and even hit "RB" and "LB" to go back and forth between the news info there but since the "Checking downloadable content" overlay is still there I cannot accually interact with the standard menu, preventing me from going into any game type. Also this still happens with just the "Online Pass" and nothing else on my HDD. No saves, or other DLCs.
After various testing of my continued Mass Effect 3 patch 2 problem, I have come across some interesting results. It's been a while since I have been a QA tester so bear with me.
This is with all the DLC.
Step one: Remove system cache.
Step two: Launch ME3 and decline update. Go into Extras, then Options, then Online. Turn off Auto Log-in to EA servers
Step three: Relaunch ME3 and accept the update.
Step four: After the "PRESS START" screen it will come to the main menu and in the background bring up the "New Game; Multiplayer; Download Content; Extras" menu on the left but the overlay of the system checks will get load looped on "Checking downloadable content" with "Loading" in bottom right.
Step five: At this point you can hit "Y" to connect to EA servers even with the eternal load loop of the "Checking downloadable content" overlay still there. After hitting it I successfully connect to EA servers and my "Galaxy at war" comes up telling me I have gone from 98% down to 94%. I can even hit "RB" and "LB" to move back and forth to the news and "Galaxy at war" screens, with the overlay still blocking part of my view.
This has been repeated time and time again with my DLCs removed one by one and every possibility till I was down to just the Online Pass. The other DLC's I have are N7 Warfare gear and From Ashes. When I got down to just the Online Pass I came across this.
Step one: Launch ME3 with just the "Online Pass" DLC. Having the patch prior or updating as you go is unimportant but you need Auto log-in to EA servers turned off.
Step two: After the "Press Start" screen the main menu goes through the checks just fine and allows you to access the main menu without fail.
From here I tried several variables of adding DLC while in game and every time I would get load looped on the "Checking Downloadable Content" overlay as soon as the DLC is done no matter which one or multiples it was. If I try to connect to EA servers while at the menu before downloading DLC it will load loop on "Connecting to EA servers". Trying to go right into multiplayer yields the same result.
I hope this information helps out in a quick resolution of the problem, but given the fact of being able to connect to the EA servers while "Checking downloadable content" overlay is load looped I would say it would be a safe been to rule out connectivity as the true error here. I'm not the expert but I would say data corruption wouldn't be outside of the realm of feasibility.

Main button did nothing. Had hit power button on the console.
Nothing moving.
Did not unplug cable. Removed save game to flash drive. The old save game with different Shepard was fine.
OrginId… If that my handle here jasperrdm1.
Tag jasperrdm
Did not mod.
Between 5:10 to 5:20 PM CDT. Wednesday
Not crashing because I removed the save game to flash drive. But then imported the same ME2 character. This import went fine and had the correct face. The original/crashed import I had to a full face reconstruct.
So could some pm me if this means they solved the problem, and I can restore to my old saved game?

I let the game sit at the main menu, where I can't do anything, for an hour. I don't have the Auto-Login enabled, because I don't want it to be and it worked just fine like that before the patch.
Anyway, what I did was press Y to let it connect to the EA servers, and I let it just sit there with the Checking DLC prompt displayed for about 20 minutes. Then, I brought up the Dashboard Menu using the controller, and let it sit like that for about 20 minutes, just to see if that would affect the loading prompt. It didn't, so I canceled the Dashboard menu and allowed the game to sit at the main menu for another 20 minutes.
After all that time, it still has the prompt, and the loading icon in the lower right, and I still can't do anything. Well, let me revise that: on the GAW screen, I can use the RB and LB buttons to cycle thru the two options available, but I can't do anything with the game otherwise.
I think I am just about done with this game; three days after a huge issue like this, I think I will just go back to ME2.

Yes
When you crash/lockup are there any animations still playing/text scrolling/anything moving on the screen?
Yes, I can still manage the ea server connection window where you see the galaxy at war map and current DLC info...it's the menu options which lock up completly.
If you unplug your ethernet cable are you able to continue into single player?
I have to restart the game and reenter to even start playing.

- Have you modified any files within the Xbox previous to the patch installation (SP or MP)?
Nope, never mod.
- Did you notice any odd behavior/flow when installing the patch?
Faster Than usual, almost like it was already installed or somehting, way to quick.
- What time did you start crashing?
Right after I installed the patch. Before I had trouble entering my multiplayer unless I loaded a game, exited abck to main menu and then entered multiplayer [al this to bypass a Checking downloadable content] which then removed the Checking DLC message. Even before the patch i was able to navigate the menu to even load a game, now it comes up with the Checking DLC message and my menu options are locked, all i can do is connect to EA server...game worked ok before patch, it now doens't wokr at all.
- Are you still crashing (please check right before you post)?
Yes, unless I turn on my system with the internet disconnected, enter the game and then recconnect the internet, I can't do anythign and that is a huge hassle. I ahve to go through this same step everytime to get access to my game...I have an EA support member helping me with this and he stated that apparently this patch is beocming a huge issue. Also the problem folks are having with the game locking up with the new patch appeared to originate fomr the PS3 version of the game, so he's amazed that so many of these issues are appearing on the Xbox version....
Honestly i know you guys are trying to fix things, but it doing so you've managed to make things worse.

I had zero problems. Played 3 MP games, exited and played a level on my SP game.
Loaded up today, and still zero problems.
I only took one precaution before I downloaded.
I logged in on my son's account to download the patch, cut off the 360, logged in on my account with no problems.
I'm not saying it is a fix, it is just a precaution I took.
I'll include my info, in case it may help to have some who are not having problems post info.
Which Country/City are you in?
Summerville, Georgia USA
When you crash/lockup are you able to press the Xbox main button to bring up the dashboard?
No crash/lockup. No problems at all.
When you crash/lockup are there any animations still playing/text scrolling/anything moving on the screen?
N/A
If you unplug your ethernet cable are you able to continue into single player?
