Since I haven't roamed the Bioware forums in forever, and I see a distinct lack of a Mass Effect 3 discussion area, I'll assume that it has been removed because of all the (Justified) rage about the ending. Now then, before you begin to read, please go to Youtube and look up "Mass Effect 3 - Leaving Earth" for the song. ( song here). Now then, see earth. See the reapers desending onto the planet. Bioware/EA logos are attached to the reapers. The shuttles of people leaving earth, they are the fans of Mass Effect. The men and women still on the ground holding out? They're the diehard fans who refuse to leave... and thus suffer the most. The camera pans out to show earth, but it is not planet earth you see being destroyed. It is... planet Mass Effect. Now, this may seem rather hilarious. But, if you actually took the time to really think about it. Think about all those people that have spent so much of their time BEING Shepard. They are Shepard. They are the citizens of Mass Effect... And now Bioware/EA has obliterated or driven away all life on Mass Effect... It is an empty, dead world, filled with nothing but emptiness and confusion. People held their ground, hoping for Bioware/EA to change the ending. Not for a happily ever after ending. Not even for an amazing ending. But an ending that made sense... An ending that kept true to what Mass Effect really was throughout the first two, and 99% of the third. With the announcement that the ending will not be changed, but instead explained, hope has been lost. Nothing will be different. "No matter how much you try to explain why something smells like ****, it still smells like ****." I am in no way a diehard Mass Effect fan. I liked the Mass Effect series. I enjoyed it very much. It was a revolutionary game, in my opinion. I had no idea games could connect and matter the way Mass Effect did. But to see these people (some I call friends) completely betrayed by Bioware and EA.... These very people that put their heart and soul (incase you don't understand the gravity of the situation, THEIR HEART THEIR SOUL) into this life everyone wanted to live in one point of their life or another. (Admit it, being the person who can change the world? You know you wanted to atleast once in your life) It's just... like watching your friends and family die before your eyes for some of these people. Bioware, you have betrayed me, not directly, but through my friends who so adore this life you've given them, and in just roughly ten minutes, taken away. A big **** YOU to you and EA for thinking this was ok. Now then, LET THE "LOLNUB"/TROLLING COMMENCE! But for those of you who actually take what I'm saying seriously, I thank you very much. I know this wont matter, because the fate of Mass Effect has already been decided, I just wanted to get this in here before I leave these forums. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Bioware, I thought about giving you thanks for everything you've done, but you know what? You don't feed a worthless mongrel like yourself when it bites you. Farewell.
