According to Jessica Merizan Twitter[*]The geth survive, it's just that their Reaper code is disabled.[*]EDI will not die because "Reaper Tech" functions are no longer avalaible
[*] Functions that were completely Reaper tech would be disabled, but human tech/synthetics should still be OK  I know shes just a Community Manager but still, she has to have some insight in the game, especially if she saying all these things, remember these were questions asked on Twitter and shes answering them.
So If this is true does this make Destroy the best ending and What does this mean to the Geth.
[*]Edit: I'm not 100% putting my trust that these are facts, Just putting up what she said. LOTS OF SPECULATION.........

Basically all this says to me is, "don't use Jessica Merizan's twitter as a source of information."

She also made the hypothesis on Twitter that the Normandy crashed on Earth, before rectifying her statement to say it may have been Mars.

Proof?

If its true... then bioware can shove their "artistic" integrity up their arse, because it doesn't exist.

I know people wanted a happy ending, but why pick anything else other than destroy if that is the case? I know people want to feel validated in destroy because shepard lives, but it removes CHOICE at the end of the game when the choice is the only true choice that matters in the entire series.

At least right now we have 3 different choices all with their pros and cons, they do this and there is absolutely no reason to pick anything else other than destroy, which is a joke.

Indeed.  Even if she's wrong, I do like her ideas of what the ending COULD be.  I'd be fine with things like this.

Still, she isn't in charge nor has any real insider info, as she herself has stated.

There's lots of things to hope about. The statements from Jessica's twitter are not among them. She specifically said EDI survived because she wasn't made from reaper tech (problem: EDI was made from reaper tech). She didn't revert to the new line of "only reaper functions will be disabled and the rest will be preserved" until after a fan called her out on the obvious misinformation.

If this is indeed true, I'm sure it comes at a great cost. Still, we won't know until the EC is released, but I bet the other options have huge pros as well.
Besides... the destroy option would still make Legion's sacrifice worhtless.

So quoting ME3:

*Destroy Option*

Starchild: You can wipe out all synthetic life if you want. Even you are part synthetic.
Shepard: But the Reapers will be destroyed?
Starchild: Yes, but the peace won't last.

So what does this mean? The ending was a lie? I had to re-watch the ending and withhold my laughter while watching that mess.

Yeah, well...sacrifices do have to be made to beat the Reapers.  And that's one sacrifice I'm willing to make.

Why the hell are people still paying attention to her? She's demonstrated, conclusively, that she knows no more about the ME3 ending than does my cat, Patches. This is what, the 10th piece of information she's spread that directly contradicts material from the game.

"Maybe the Normandy crashed on Earth...*wink*" comes to mind. I mean, the woman missed that there are two moons around Gilligan's planet. The idea that she missed the part where it was clearly stated "the Geth will die" does not surprise me.

If, and it's a big IF, this is true.  Why would anyone choose anything other than destroy.  Geth live, reapers dead, relays destroyed (same as other endings) and Shepherd breath sequence.

Really no negatives I can see.
