ME3 is the last BioWare I buy new for a good while due to BioWare's recent condescension, passive-aggressive attacks on the fanbase, and the simple fact that they seem to care more about the artistic vision of two people (Hudson and Walters) as opposed to their original vision and their fanbase.

Had BioWare actually acted like their claim of truly caring about what their customers think and feel instead of making back-handed comments on the issue, I would merely be making sure that any game where Walters and/or Hudson is even remotely involved with will be bought used at $20 or less, if bought at all. Because of their recent tone towards the fanbase, BioWare has made it so that any BioWare game that I buy will be used at $20 or less.

Unless they change the ending to something the fans deserve, this will be the last Bioware game I buy new (no matter what I'll never pre-order another Bioware/EA game). If all we get is a slight clarification, I will wait to see reviews from the press and fans, then if they are good I will buy the game used.

It depends on the EC. If it actually fixes anything and appears to have a lot of effort put into it, then no. If it fails epically (which is what I'm expecting), then yes.

Yes, it will be the last. But I decided this even before I saw the terrible thing they call end. After Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 2 and SWTOR Bioware already was a dead company to me. I got ME3 just to end the trilogy. If only I knew it will destroy it instead :(

Certainly not. They fumbled an ending. It happens. The Hunger Games series also managed to trip and knock out it's own teeth on the last page. It doesn't make it a bad series, or the creators bad at their craft.

Dear Bioware,

Thank you for hundreds of hours of great gaming with the Mass Effect Series.
Please be so kind as to notice that I am not pleased with the ending how it is right now.
The actual ending shows with its ignoring of decision but after all colourful explosions (that really is an effrontery) a lack of love and heart which has been put into ME until this point but particularly it shows that someone decided to save a lot of money by creating this ending than rather spending it to provide the fans with a final they deserve.

Fortunately we live in a capitalistic society.
It's this easy. Please your costumer or your costumer won't pay you any money anymore.
We are the fans, we are the ones who pay your bills, we are the ones who make sure you can feed your family.
I am definetly NOT pleased, and it seems that I won't buy ANYTHING that has to do with Bioware and/or Mass Effect.
Maybe you should stop creating movies and animes in the Mass Effect Universe, I'd bet a huge amount of people are not interested in seeing them.

And please, Bioware, stop argueing with your "artistic integrity" and stop pretending like just a few people don't like your conclusion.
The fans feel really insulted and get angry when confronted to this ridiculously excuse of your failure regarding the ending.

We aren't nobodys, we aren't just a few.

Sincerely yours,
A disappointed fan.

P.S.: I have to apologize for my obviously bad english, but I'm no native speaker although I'm trying hard to do my very best.

Impossible to say since I don't know their plans for future games. On the other hand, I am already thinking of spending a bit more money on SWTOR. So ME3 is definitely not the last time I consume BW goods. Disclaimer: I don't have any major issues with ME3, not any more.

Yes.  While I have played many Bioware games: Neverwinter Nights, NWN Shadows of Undrentide, NWN Hordes of the Underdark, Dragon Age Origins, Jade Empire, Baldur's Gate (all of them), ME1/2/3 this will be the last Bioware game I play.

Its pretty obvious the direction EA wants Bioware to go & that is not making RPG's.  I would not be suprised if DA3 gets announced and someone has multiplayer compenants & is somehow turned into a first person shooter.  Perhaps with magic & projectiles.

ME3 while it has been a great game, lost so many of the rpg elements that made it extraordinary.  You cannot import the character you had from the previous 2 installments as they look nothing alike, insufficient EMS in single player for best ending, rushed ending, main characters used as war assets & cannot join squad, romances & sexual preferences are cut & dry the list goes on.  Don't even get me started on micro transactions...

Its been fun Bioware, hope your team walks out on EA & starts a new company.  Until then, I'll be playing other games.

I might still buy them, but with a large price drop, just like I did with ME3 or even second-handed, just like I did with DA2.

It is clear now that most people that worked at Bioware before the EA buy have left the studio now, and the new staff doesn't have any idea of how to make a good game, even less a good rpg, their games don't deserve to be bought at full price.

Now the Witcher 2 on the other hand, yummy.

i may buy more BW games, BUT I will NEVER pre-order another BW game!
I will wait until it has been out a while and see the FAN reviews feel abt the game and the ending before I buy. I have lost a lot of confidence in BW's story telling ability.

It is absolutely the last thing I will buy from Bioware. I would actually like my money back because I hate the game so much. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't even buy an Xbox.

BioWare is slipping imho.

While ME3 was a great game, some of the stuff in it is beyond ridiculous and exists for no reason other than to make it seem more like arcade shooter (I mean the stupid falls from one level to the one below), rididculous contronls and too many "booms".

DA2 was a piece of crap. One of the worst RPGs I've ever played.

I will not pre-order their next game, that's for sure.

No probably not, although I now have large reservations about Bioware's ability to produce a quality finished product since DA2 and ME3, if they make it a hat-trick with there next release then maybe.

What I won't do now is pre-order anything they produce, or even buy it first day, I will definitely be giving it some time and see what the feedback is.

One thing I will commit to though, there are now numerous game 'review' sites and magazines that I will no longer be giving any credence, time or money too.

No.

There aren't many developers out there who put as large an emphasis on story and characters as Bioware do. They messed up ME3's ending, but the overall story of the trilogy is still good and the character stories and subplots are fantastic.

I'm not that interested in the Dragon Age series - I'm personally not that big a fan of fantasy games. But I'll probably buy other Mass Effect, and I'm very interested in Generals 2 (the sequel to one of my favourite ever games).
