Waiting to see the EC DLC.

Same.

ME1 was the first. Depends on them whether ME3 is the last.

Mass Effect 3 isn't a BioWare game. It's an EA game made by BioWare. Multiplayer, rushed production, that-which-shall-not-be-named - that's not what I've come to expect from BioWare. If they don't do something to fix this mess, then ME2 was the last BioWare game I bought, and the rest have all been EA games.

Maybe. Maybe BioWare can turn it around.

However, I will never pre-purchase another EA/BioWare game and I will never give professional reviews so much credit.

Why?

Why the HELL would I go "I'LL NEVER BUY A BIOWARE GAME EVUR BECAUSE ME3 DISAPPOINTED?"

If any game is good, I would buy it regardless whether it's Bioware or not.

OP: No, DA2 was last BW game I'll buy...lololol /jk. I did buy ME3, but returned it unopened a few days after launch. Friend gave me his copy with the exact words: "Take it, I never want to see this garbage ever again." This was a guy who buys collector's editions, ME books etc, and was just absolutely gutted by what they did with the ending. I feel bad for him, and if the extended clarification dlc turns out to be any good I'll gladly return his copy to him. I've my doubts though. I played the default Shep instead of my imports just to keep some distance from the game, but upon completion I don't think BW can unsh*t the bed with patchwork epilogue dlc. They really need to get rid of the Starchild.

As for myself, whether or not I repurchase or sink more money into ME dlc is going to depend on the clarification dlc. If it's horrid and continues to insult its audience, I'm done with the franchise. And future BW games are no longer day 1 or preorder purchases. I'll wait for the player reviews from some of the more even keeled guys around here and wait for steep price drops if I'm interested.

Actually, come to think...

... if the next Bioware game is only on Origin, I definitely will not be getting it.

Only if all future releases are tied through Origin client, if they want to use steam in the future, they can access my money.

Depends on what they release. If it appeals to my gaming aesthetic... maybe.
I'll always look at that label and wonder how wack the end is going to be, though.

It's the last Bioware and EA game I'll ever pre-order. Then depending on the Extended Cut DLC and Bioware's responses on the fan criticism, I'll either wait to hear reviews before I buy it (if they do right by the fans) or I'll only buy a Bioware game used/pre-owned to make sure they don't get any money from me (if the new material sucks or is just more of the same).

Not my last by a long stretch. I generally love their games, it's just they've dropped the ball on a couple of recent titles. I liked DA2, to be honest, but was upset with the gameplay choices and the end writing. Same with ME3. But, in the end, they're much better than most other offerings out there as far as RPGs go. And, for the most part, their writing is always top-notch.

I just hope they do a better job with DA3, have some great DLC for ME3 as well as do great with the EC DLC, and bring us Jaded Empires 2. ;)

Regrettably it probably will be.

With Dragon Age 2 and now Mass Effect 3 letting me down even when I went into those games with low expectations its not looking good.

For me the Mass Effect franchise has gotten worse with each sequel, oh sorry, with each reboot of the game. There are things I like in each game don’t get me wrong but to see a Sci-Fi Role Playing Game get turned into essentially a full third person shooter with a few dialog choices along with a totally messed up ending and broken promises pretty much closes the door for me on BioWare.

I have better games to play now and in the future than to waste time and money on a game that will just disappoint me and not be worth the price.

Sorry BioWare but you haven’t impressed me at all with your games or the quality of your games in a long time.

The last game I preordered, that's for sure (not to talk about buying another collectors edition). I'll probably wait for a month or two before considering buying another game. I've lost faith in Bioware after DA2, but gave them a chance with ME3. I won't give them my money again so easily.

Nope, I enjoyed the hell out of ME3 and I didn't mind the endings either. I just finished Dragon Age 2 last night and enjoyed the hell out of that as well.

BioWare make great games, I've enjoyed every game of theirs that I have bought so why would I stop?

Bioware before ME3 - > must buy, preorder!

Bioware after ME3 -> wait and see, check user review, see on youtube, if most say good, then buy

Probably not. I like their games, and they are better than a lot of companies out there. I hope they're willing to really put artistic integrity before profits and make the extended DLC amazing, and also fix everything wrong with DA2 in DA3. The potential is there, as far as I know most of the original staff from the days of DA:O and ME1 are still around, so it's not like they can't do it. More a question of if they still want to.

Definitely not :)

I'm looking forward to DA3. Hoping they don't reuse dungeons again, but looking foward to it nonetheless.

Bioware's worst game will still be more enjoyable than many games in the market.

I agree 100%. Any non-MMO Bioware game is an instant purchase for me.

No. Though ME3's endings are terrible, it's still a great game. In fact, the way BioWare have handled the situation has pissed me off more than the acutal endings themselves. But still... Though DA3 will be the judge if I ever buy another BioWare game again.
