Remember people had the option not to trust tim.

I would say though that it is a 180 from tim's many statements about using reaper tech to raise humanity. I do not think he would just fly them away.

Also my only actual serious, 'get it out of the ending' comment would be renaming london. There is no universe in which i could take a scene like that seriously.

I gotta say I want the TIM to have some form of redemption, but this didn't do it. However, i think it would be difficult to write some form of redemption for the TIM. difficult but not impossible

I love the TIM twist, this is one of the best fanmade endings.

In theory, you could say the link's been broken because TIM has done what Harby wanted. It's not great, but I'm not a writer.

The game's current endings are bad, but this is definitely not an example of what is needed to fix them.

I have to agree with this.  I appreciate the effort it takes to put something like this together and as fan fiction is passable.   It sacrifices too many of the themes and events of the previous game to accomodate a cheesy happy ending akin to Indepence Day.

"Oh bally hell, those american chaps have gone and renamed London!" no, just no.

Nice try, by far better from what we got. Still though... trusting TIM? Or renaming London? Bit far fetched, but still and I say again: BY FAR better than what we got.

That's all I wanted.

Come on BioWare, if this guy can pull that off why don't you, god dammit!

EDIT: Maybe too much disney-like ending, but the the general idea is spot on! And I romanced Miranda, too :).

Plus, it makes much more sense than what we have now.

Didn't like it. Filled with cliché's and some silly plotholes and .... well, not alot of it made any sense. Just made me go "wat" for the most part.

Oh well, the fine taste of opinions. Was still a nice effort on the video itself =]

I'm confused...are you talking about the vanilla ending or the fan made one?

They all sound like that to me .

PS: Didn't like some parts, but the Reapers goal at least can be "tolerable"

good work, but the starbrat and the plot holes are still there.
And the illusive man resurrection is bad,.. there is already enoegh fantasy and space magic in the ending.

This is a fantastic contribution and everyone should see it, especially BioWare.

Generally really a good work ... a way too postive maybe and there are still some plotholes in it, but ... BW could build on that.

It would have been better if it was Anderson who came up, not TIM, but other than that it was a great improvement.
EDIT: Except renaming London! Leave our capital alone!

Good fanfic, but as already stated, it's an individuals take on what the ending should be, even my paragon just wants to short out the starbrat and take on the reapers in a conventional war.

But... It's stated at least 12 times during Mass Effect 3 alone that defeating the reapers conventionally is impossible, let alone all the implications of this from the first 2 games.

I know they say this, but I also thought that in their calculations for a conventional fleet, they didn't add in the factor of potentially having the entire Geth fleet upgraded with Reaper Code and such. It's a stretch, sure, but with a sufficiently high enough EMS, it could simply be inferred that Shep gathered a fighting force much larger and stronger than they thought possible.

Not bad at all.

Seeing all the other squadmates in action, and at the end goes A LONG DAMN WAY toward making me happy.

Not sure about seeing the kid at the very end, but whatever.

This is the general direction I'd like to see BioWare take: let us refuse the StarKid, or come up with another option, and let us see our squaddies in action, and let us know what happens to them after.

Very much a "fan fiction" type of thing but still better [by miles] than what we got in ME3.

This.

Also, someone didn't play LOTSB. Lol. Unless Sheploo's ultimate manliness overpowered Miranda's infertility.

Beautifully done! This is just one more way to make these endings so much better. Not even necessarily because it is a happy ending (although I like that fact as well) but because it gives the player options!

I really do hope that if bioware says they are not changing the endings with the EC, they mean that they are not going to cut everything away but still allow for alterations such as this. This example has all the options I wanted most badly for the star child conversation. The twist with TIM is a nice idea. I am sure there are several ways to handle this.

What we do definitely need is an epilogue scene like the story boarded one here, at least in the case that Shep survives. Granted there was a lot of cliché in there (I admit I cringed a bit during the EDI/Joker part) but that does not have to be a bad thing. After all, things get the label of being cliché because they are used often and that is because they just work. Besides, let's face it, the ME series has not really shied away from it before, so it fits.

Not bad. As long as its the perfect play through. I think Shep should die with less EMS. Did I catch the creepy ending where Miranda was pregnant with Sheps child... The STARCHILD?
