I already beat the game once, but I'm playing through it again with a FemShep and a "new" ManShep. I know that you can keep playing after the suicide mission, do side quests, and what I wanted to ask is if you need to do ANY sidequests before you beat the main story.
Yeah, I know, loyalty missions, but aside from those. Can you do every sidequest after beating the main story? I just want to save the more...pointless stuff for last.

Yes you can do all side quest after beating the game and I recommend saving a good number of side quest to do after beating the game.
Some companions like Legion you get pretty late in game and they will only have new things to say to you after you have completed a quest or two. So, unless you are willing to sacrifice your crew, do side quests after beating the game will let you hear everything they have to say.
