My dilemma:
I’m not a fan of Fixpack but I currently have it installed because other mods I wanted, needed it to work.

Back to the point… Normally I give miss Sliverback her eggs ( have her help me against the entrance Drow ) then return to her cave & kill her for the silver blood except it looks as though Fixpack might have buggered this strategy up by having her leave permanently.

Question: i.e. Can anyone suggest a (FixPack enabled ) tactic which gives me the experience for handing over her the eggs and still lets me kill her?

Hm. I assume you fight Adalon for the challenge, because the XP for helping her is supposed to be more than for killing her. Why do you not dump the eggs, kill the dragon, then fight the exit drow yourself? I make a point of taking them out before returning the eggs. It's certainly not a trivial fight with SCS2 installed.

Does the fixpack take the eggs from you as soon as you get them and give them to Adalon, I seem to remember her sidekick spawning in and taking them? Perhaps try to pause and Ctrl-Y him?

EDIT D'oh just read your post again, you want both sets of XP. Clearly the fixpack views this as cheating. Personally I'd say that's a bit over-controlling, but it's never actually affected me, I've only ever killed Adalon once, and then I only got the kill XP.

You could just cheat the XP in, although spreading it over a group may be tedious. Simplest to cheat a couple of  high level scrolls in, and scribe/delete them. How much XP do you need? A L8 spell should give 8k, so ten is plenty. CLUAConsole:CreateItem("SCRL9a",10)

I fight Adalon for her blood which is needed to make “Human Flesh +5” ( evil ) … Fixpack seems to have assumed that her returning to the cave was a mistake and FIXED it.


p.s. Yes, with SCS install you are much better off killing the Drow guards yourself before giving her the eggs because if you don’t she will teleport you directly into the battle without buffs and happily cast scripted spells whilst you are gang raped by the Drow.

Yup Viccy does love that armor, and I think my Barbarian may have borrowed it from her to solo Ascension. Anyway don't give Adalon the eggs, just kill her. If you want the egg quest XP too cheat it in.
