i tried this yesterday in a gold farming match, i saw this idea from the forums so i ave it a whirl....


i said Geth hunter coming behind you, 2 guys look behind and i decloak and shot them with a geth plasma shotty for lulzs, many luls where had best stuff ever

I've changed my Geth units to a metallic red now so people don't end up shooting at me on maps versus Geth. Still get the odd shot though until they realize the mistake and people using medi-gel packs when they me approach them to revive them thinking I am going to stomp kill them...

It is all pretty funny.

Just played my first match with a Geth team mate against Geth. He was painted like a rocket Geth from ME2...I think I nearly shot him several times, maybe succeeded once or twice. Please do not creep up on me from behind....auto shoot. LOL...

 I admit, on more than one occasion while fighting Geth with my Gethgineer, I've started hugging a Prime's turret, only for it to gun me down (because I'm about as flimsy as a wet noodle ofc). Such a heartbreaking--then hilarious--moment...

Geth do not intentionally cheat on their medi-turrets...

Blue Geth or Green Geth would be good. Then again, you may enjoy the giggles as people mistake you for a moment.

Just remembered that after you posted it, ah well another colour change coming up maybe British Racing Green (just dark green ingame)with Go Faster red or white stripes hahaha

it was a geth farming gold game and ppl get way to complacent now that its pretty much clockwork and ppl only play to farm credits so i knew it would work. I ended up killing one guy cuase he stood up and tried to melee me and the guy tried to shoot me, while this was happening it got owned from a pryo.

called me a **** and told me to change the color scheme to something that wasnt black....suffice to say i didnt listen...my geth is black with red lights always will be

Yeah it's all fun and games until you see a geth uncloak, you assume it's a teammate and it turns out to be an actual geth hunter who's now in the process of shooting you a new butthole.

In my case, those weren't stray bullets. The first Geth unit I played with got a ceremonial Claymore blast to the chest the instant we came out of the start coma. They responded in kind with a Widow shot and a few melees back in my direction. Good times.

My Geth Engineer is currently orange metallic, so that teammates hopefully see that I'm an ally and don't waste ammo on Me.
