@ShepskiGuy‏ Well, honestly, before I did an A/K-centric DLC, I'd likely push for ME1/2 squaddies who weren't squaddies this time..

WHOA Really, I know the only ME1 squadie who wasn't a squadie in ME3 was Wrex PLEASE Don't make him a squadie, I love him and It would not only ruin Wrex but the Krogan aswell by doing that.

However, PLEASE Thane, Samara, Jack, PLEASE, Miranda, Jacob, PLEASE, PLEASE

Visii you just made my day thank you so much.

@gears Why would Wrex being a squaddie in ME3 ruin his character?

Thanks for sharing this! I feel a little more hopeful about the future of our ME2 characters now, yay! :D

Hey I'd be so upset if they forgot about any of the ME2 LI's, gaining more content not just as LI's but as good friends. I know everyone always seems to have Garrus as their best bro, and all but for me that was more Thane than Garrus. Garrus was like that loyal puppy ya never asked for but somehow ya got and it fallows ya around no matter what.

Thane he was so much more, he had this whole guilt ridden stained past, and wanting to make the world a brighter place, a sort of personal redemption if you will. It made him seem more human and intriguing for me,

Hell look at my favorite characters most of them have at least a few of these traits, broken person, a sense of guilt, a stained/tragic past, an extremely great warrior, or a huge massive personal cause, Wrex, Samara, Thane, Jack, all fit under there, same with Bailey who''s another character I've like very much.

Also given FemShep got a major raw deal BW needs to give ya all Vega.

As far as what I was saying about more content regardless of if the character was an LI, I'd like to be able to cure Thane, and Miranda WTF?

I mean I'm not the biggest fan of her personality but last I knew her dad's legacy was his cloned daughters and then in ME3 he's claming his Legacy is figuring out how Reaper indoctrination works? Not to mention I get what a whole 2 seconds to see this dude that was made up to be this horricfic person and all I see is a wimpy dude hiding behind one of his cloned daughters and no explanation as to why he abandoned his clone Legacy or how Oriana ended up there?

It was like this massive build up of gas that turned into a barely audible and non smelly fart. It's stupid.

Also how come Tali and Garrus romance scene where done half assed I mean they were both right there on the ship, and Garrus was on it longer than the VS was in ME3.

Yep more Samara, Thane, Jack, Miranda, Jacob, Kelly, and fully Vega LI, and a non-halfassed effort with Garrus and Tali.

I agree with this, and I think he was trying to figure out indoctrination in order to control his daughters, or at least that was what I got from that situation. I very much agree that they mistreated him and Miranda as characters. I didn't even learn this until two weeks ago, as she died in my first playthrough.

@gears Why would Wrex being a squaddie in ME3 ruin his character?

Thanks for sharing this! I feel a little more hopeful about the future of our ME2 characters now, yay! :D

I think it would ruin Wrex and the Krogan as a whole, after the Genophage is cured and all The Krogan need their male leader/king/Wrex hanging around leading them, if he runs off with Shep, I can't see many Krogan looking at that as a good thing, I can only see them going back to kiling each other, and not helping the Turians, it would be totataly desaster for the Krogan.

I LOVE Wrex he's one of my favorite characters but I just couldn't bare to see him become a squad mate when he's supposed to be this big Krogan Leader/King However during the first act when before you cure the Genophange I could see him becoming a squadmate in that part of the game ONLY. Because face it Liara's the Shadow Broker if she can go into combat so then when Wrex is serving as a diplomat on the Normandy he could aslo go into Combat.

Hope this helps ya understand what I meant.

As to everyone else about Miranda, thanks for your input it still don't change that Miaranda, her Dad, and Orianna were wasted potential and those scenes felt half @ssed thought out, written, and finished.

Just like Samara's scenes on Lessus, it felt stupidly half@ssed I mean really I wanted to see her intereact with her daughters some more, and don't give me that BS about because she's a Justicar she couldn't. It's BS she lost her mind after lossing Rila. She wasn't thinking clearly and attempts suiced, it had nothing to do with The Code, and everything to do with she reached her breaking point and wasn't thinking clearly.  When you talk with her on the Citadel after that she so much as admits she wasn't thinking clearly.

And don't get me started on Thane, he was the first ME2 squadie BW revealed and he was a fan favorite, they made him a total bad@ss, liked by dudes and loved by chicks, they tossed him away like he was Fist or Helana Blake, heck Conrad had more effort put into him.

YeaMageTarot, I'm never gonna be happy unless I get the promised Samara LI. I also have proof of it from an interview with Mr H. back in late 2010/early 2011 he flat out said it in a Q&A here is the exact quote I copied the whole article and saved it on my computer for my personal record. I blame this habit on my Mom she's worked in law for sometime and just got her degree as an Attorney.

Anyway here is the quote from Mr H. "That scene between Shepard and Samara at the end of ME2 it's like the giant pink elephant in the room between them. That's something many of the fans have been asking for in ME3. So we plan to really develop that and bring it together in a way that's natural to the characters and at the same time delivers what the fans have been wanting. The Samara romance will be taken care of in ME3"

So there you have it, one of the many times a bigwig confirmed Samara LI, and that's just one of the many.

^ Completely, and I agree with you as well. However, I know its what alot of people want and I wouldn't feel right if I got my Thane back without Bioware showing some love for Wrex fans as well.
Especially, since this is the last ME game and everyone should be able to say goodbye to their favorite characters appropriately.
But I hope if they do decide to add him as a squadmate, its done so in a sensible manner that stays true to the story and characters.

The Tribute: Aftermath

Well, I finished the cover letter yesterday. Talked with Aryss yesterday also, and she said most of the letters and pics were formatted properly. We also just finished that pretty thing with the stars that Aryss gave you all a preview of a few pages back.

I'll try and get an update later today on some specifics and maybe an estimate of when the PDF will be ready and a cost analysis on how much the physical book will cost to make and send to BioWare.

Thank you for your patience.

Any chance to ask Raph to ask Kimberly for a similar statement?

I want to know it!
Damnit, I want to know if Ash gets more lines too

And yes, I'm happy for Kaidan fans. Really, really happy, 'cause more content for Kaidan increases chances for more Ashley content as well - which means more justice for both VS fandoms.

It's my pleasure :-) I remember lots of Samara support here so... And like I'm not on the thread of Samara (I suppose she has one), feel free to post it there for other Samara's fans !

Edit : Mesina links it to me, I'm gonna post on it !
