I really think BioWare is going to be blown away by the content. I hope that what they'll see will give them that extra added incentive to come out with LI DLC. No need for them to ask if anyone would buy it - this book answers that question with a resounding HELL, YES!
Grats to everyone who made it possible. I can't wait to hear what the reaction will be!

This is really amazing guys, you've outdone yourselves. I can't wait to see what Bioware thinks.
Though I did notice that the orientation of my drawing was changed -- which I'm totally fine with -- but it means my signature got cut off. Can I resubmit it with the signature moved?
Anyway, I am so impressed with how this turned out. 438 pages!

Saw the PDF. So much Thane, I just don't understand. No judgement, absolutely love his character cuz he's one badass assasin, but the romance part I never found appealing. It's good to see a lot of variety and so much effort and personal investment, really awesome job you guys! Can't wait to see what BioWare thinks of it.
I can understand why ppl love his romance. I'm a dude, never romanced him, but I can see where the love comes from.
I'm also surprised to see Jacob!support and plenty of written and drawn tributes to Ashley. Also interesting a lot of people who loved Ashley moved on to Miranda. Similar type, huh? ^^
Overall, good work. I would sort it 'though.

Hey, just a few suggestions: You should alphabetize the Authors/Artists. Makes it a lot easier too look at and find names. Also, I think that the letters should be grouped by LI. Was really hard to find some specific LI letters..... AKA Vega lol In case you missed it, there was a doubled picture on pages 101 and 232.
I like the existing setup. The problem with grouping them is that you'd need to get through like a hundred Thane letters before reading about anyone else.
The one suggetion I'd have is to mix the art and letters a bit more. So you're not faced with a 100 page wall of text straight up.

And still I need to request if there's any interest in fusing two projects into one ... in my case it's still dealing with "more squadmate interaction" (but virtually, it's about more romance stuff).Visii wrote...

Also just wondering what happened to the 10 useable pics I sent it. It seem like half of them 10 useable ones maybe didn't make the finale cut, or something.
As for people saying that there sure is lots of Thane content, All I gots to say is you damned right, spend some time in the Thane Threads and you be sickened, the amount of effort and time put into Thane to make him an appealing LI for Female players, and the amount of exclusive romance only content given to Thane in ME2 was well it made it one of the most unique and deep LIs in the whole series. So You damned right there are many people rightfully pushing for Thane.
You damned right BW made a big mistake with Thane in ME3, hell I don't think they even thought about it at all. It needs to be fixed.
To anyone who don't understand how badly they messed up with Thane in ME3, I ask you to go spend some time in the Thane threads chat with the gals and dude(s) in there, and you may just learn some stuff about Thane in ME2 and than Thane ME3. It may make vomit (or want to) at how BW completely fumbled on something like the 5 yard line (or maybe it's closer to they somehow fumbled on the 1 yard line) and lost the super bowl as a result of that fumble.
Thane as a LI was easily the most deepest, well thought out, meaningful, unique, rewarding, one in the series.
However I think if handled properly and with care,Samara has the potential to be a completely unique and all together different style of LI, both deep, complex, and Shepard (the player) would have to be the one to put forth most the effort, make the advances, it would have to really be a slowly gradual thing, filled with very complex and deep character development,
Which the deep character development is something that I've come to understand was pulled off extremely well with Thane.
SO yeah there is lots of Thane content in there, there is a 80's balled called 'Don't know what ya got till it's gone' well in this case many ME fans don't know what they didn't have, or didn't do regarding Thane as a LI, and or now seeing many people protesting and showing up in record numbers fighting for Thane as LI, in ME3. SO if your like me you will wonder why there is so many massive Thane entries and projects, and you may just do what I did and venture into some of the Thane Threads, if you do and read stuff well you may just understand why things are this way.
Again if you wish to understand and know why there is so much support for Thane, venture over into one of the Thane Threads.
Also this time I will not say "I am sorry for this long huge thing I typed up" Because I am not, I am rather proud of it and I am proud to show my passion for these characters, and happy to type my support, and stand point, and I am happy with the thought of hopefully building bridges and inspiring others to venture into character threads they normally don't go to. With luck maybe they will also come to understand how badly BW fumbled with Thane in ME3.
I know that once I ventured into the Protesting the Treatment of Thane's romance in ME3, thread and read it, well I quickly understood it all and felt for them, not to mention the people in there are some of the kindest and most understanding and welcoming fans these forums.
So with that I am done...... for now.

Also it felt like who ever wrote Ash in ME3, went way over board with her mistrust of aliens issues. Heck she felt extremely racist in ME3, easily the most racist character in the series. It was the kind of stuff I'd expect from some brainwashed Cerberus person, not Ashley.
It wasn't just her looks that got butchered in ME3, her character got butchered too.

- I'm graduating tomorrow, so I won't be around on the thread for the day, but please, keep going through The Tribute PDF and let us know if something is amiss or if your letter/art is missing! If you see letter or picture repeats, please post the pages that they occur on for easy reference!

Yeah, as soon as she's back on the Normandy, she goes silent and does not talk that much anymore. I know several of her crew interaction dialogues got cut (one for Tali via intercom for example), so either she's bugged or the dialogues got cut last second. Also some dialogues are only available under certain cirumstances like doing the bomb mission AFTER Tuchanka AND Citadel Coup (which only few will do).gearseffect wrote...
CaptData, I know Ash was barely in ME3. I was expecting her to have more stuff in the game. Sadly her convos aboard the Normandy were among the worst convos in the series.
I'd say if you substract the option to recruit her as squadmate for the Normandy, her content is similar to Miranda's.
Dunno. Distrust? Yeah, for certain. Questioning Shepard for the entire Mars Mission until the "relief talk" ... is hard to swallow, even for her fans. Especially since headcanon tells different (but what's headcanon, huh?). Racism? I can't see any. If there are racist characters, then I would put my finger at Udina (who has no issues seizing control and killing others), on certain Quarian Admirals and Dalatress Linron. Also it felt like who ever wrote Ash in ME3, went way over board with her mistrust of aliens issues. Heck she felt extremely racist in ME3, easily the most racist character in the series. It was the kind of stuff I'd expect from some brainwashed Cerberus person, not Ashley.
I'd say the ME universe is full of racist b*stards - and Ashley is the only one learning from the past, slowly changing her view to trusting aliens. At least those she knows on a first name basis. She would throw herself into the bullet and catch it for Wrex, Garrus, Tali, Liara ... you name it.
I dunno, Ash doesn't say anything against Aliens in ME3 - or you have to pull all renegade lines on her. Distrust - yes. Racism - no. Not that I'm aware of. She said worse in ME1 and everything can be explained with "low experience with aliens" and "distrust".
However, the writers overdid it for sure. All she has to say is (if not romanced) Cerberus centered and that's it.
*shrug* I like her new appearance 'though I'd love to see her bun back in battle and open hair only for romantic scenes. That's all.It wasn't just her looks that got butchered in ME3, her character got butchered too.
Her character didn't get "butchered" - it got cut. With enough headcanon (based on her ME1 personality) she works. However, why do we have to do that? Liara got an amazing romance, Garrus the best friendship path in the entire series. There are not that many gaps to be filled with "headcanon". For Ash I need to headcanon virtually the second half in the game.
I'm maybe a bit too invested into this character named Ashley. I love her, because she's so perfectly imperfect.
Well ... a bit like Thane. He comes with so much baggage and no future ...
Just nice to know: Thane was written by the same writer like Ashley. That very same writer quit some time while developing ME2 and was no longer part of the writer's team in ME3. Figures Thane's character got butchered too, huh?
Fighting the good fight.

One tiny correction on my letter-and it's really my own fault, should have put it there when I sent it,hehe, but it completely slipped my mind-I'd like my BSN name at the bottom, if possible!
