I'm glad to be part of it. I'm on pages 91-92 :-)
Just a little thing, Visii, my name isn't in the list of contributors at the beginning. Can you add me ?

Also as far as I'm concerned there is no such thing as 'being too invested' in a character. I find that many fans of these characters have such a passion for them they'd have done a better job handling them in ME3, writing and content. None would have gotten shafted in favor of MP, Action Mode, and certainly not use that stupid excuse they can die, Liara wouldn't have as much hate because her special treatment favoritism wouldn't be a b!tch slap to the other LIs.
If you way too invented than I am certainly way too invested in my LI Samara, along with my best pal Thane, my side kick Garrus, my unique relationship with Jack, My friendship with Ashley whom had great legitimate concerns with Shep coming back to life, and all the other ME characters I love. No such thing as being way too invested in these characters and OUR Shepards story

@CptData I didn't romance Ashley with my main Shep in ME1. So my duologue with her may be different.. .though I am not certain on that. All she talked about was Cerberus and on missions she has several whacky racist type comments towards aliens. Same with after a few missions, Quarians/Geth, Thessia, and some other ones I can't remember right off hand.
Let's put it this way: Ashley's lines can be interpreted in more than one ways. If you want to see her as a racist, you'll pick that interpretation. I have a tendency to see it the other way around: most people I know utter more racist stuff. When it comes to certain cultures, hell even I do utter a racist line or two sometimes. And compared against some characters in the series, Ashley is not very racist.
She's a nationalist (fighting mostly for goals protecting / helping mankind) and defends her race violently. However, that's something all other races do too: Turians, Salarians, Krogans, you name it. They all fight for their own goals first and THEN help the others.
However, that's old stuff. I think Ashley's focus on Cerberus is more annoying and hard to swallow, even for her fans.

I often catch myself when thinking: wow - this writer knows what s/he does. S/he's usually a fan of a certain character and got the -very- essence of that character, writing better fics and dialoques then the original writer of the team.
The loss of L'Etoile in BW -is- visible. He wrote Ashley and Thane. And guess what? Both characters felt different in ME3 than in ME1/ME2. I think, only a really invested fan can write on a similar level like the original writer - and only because that original writer IS a fan of his own creations. Would say: L'Etoile loved Ashley - and he loved Thane. And that's something you can feel.
I wish I could talk to L'Etoile one day ...

Agreed. Well, agreed in the sense that the loss of a former, well known writer for a certain character is gone. IT just isn't the same. For lack of a better analogy, it's like having Miracle Whip on your sandwich as opposed to real mayonnaise.

This.

Also agreed. The characters exist for you to form bonds with them (Or to hate them). To NOT do it is going against their entire purpose for existing. Honestly, I die a little bit inside whenever someone tells me "It's just a game, stop worrying about your green frog boy or your virtual girlfriend!".

Hey just reposting as a reminder, don't know if anyone got to this yet. It's on page 111 or 113 I think (around there anyway.)CrutchCricket wrote...
Downloaded v1.0 and it looks awesome. Are you still doing revisions though? If so can you correct a tiny error in mine? You formatted the "enjoy" as part of the link. It's not. Wouldn't want someone copying the whole thing, getting 404'd and just forgetting about it lol.
Also are you planning on labeling the art/screenshots with submitters or it it supposed to be just all together?
Thanks again for all your hard work!
