In DA2 one of the things i missed was playing a different race and hearing how sometimes it actually did effect how people would talk to me sure it wasn't that often but it was still cool.

Bioware have said they may do origins again that there are pros and cons to it, but what if instead of races in DA3 we have a Nations Origin? I personally would love to play someone from Antiva or Rivain. We could also get a little peak at each nation.

A good idea, but incredibly unlikely.

As much as I'd love to be a snarky Antivan, voice acting would be even more expensive due to the accents. I guess, if you're playing a Rivani, Kirkwaller, or Fereldan turnip, you can use the same voice actors, but an Orlesian, Starkhaven...er, or an Antivan would be basically out of luck.

I do hope we have more than one VA since i personally didnt enjoy the male VA and some didnt like the female. It just adds some customisation and because i didnt like the male VA for hawke it took meout the game sometimes, worse so all my female characters sounded exactly the same so i wouldnt want to play another famale.

It's a great idea, but another likely sacrifice on the altar of "more cinematic, voice-acted" protagonists.

Having multiple VAs for the protag would certainly be helpful, but also very expensive - not only in terms of dev budget, but also opportunity cost.  There is already other potential game content that has to be cut in service to the cinematic, voice-acted approach, and I feel that supporting multiple VAs would likely require additional cutbacks - in dialogue opportunities and options at the very least.

If they were to provide different origins, I think I might prefer race over nation, but either would be fine as long as it is supported by a background story that would introduce us to a unique cultural perspective that could be carried forward and help to define the character throughout the game.

It is certainly an interesting idea.

We're not getting origins (races, nations) anymore due to obvious VA issues.

Though I've been thinking, why not make male and female protagonists to be of actually different origins, and not just the genderswapped clones, since they already have different VAs.

And even make them companions... or competitors.

That would make the rogues from the Free Marches a favored choice. They can teleport, after all. and they have an unlimited amount of smokebombs.
