The way I figure into Tali's design is this.

If anyone can re-create her design with photoshop on themselves and other people, it's not a good design.

It's lazy.

I don't know, it could be argued that Shepard isn't really easily surprised. Besides, you can look alien and still be attractive, you just need a few similarities scattered around. Two eyes, prominant cheek bones, something akin to lips, and the right curvature. Within that you can have a lot of variance.

Besides, Garrus doesn't look very human and a lot of people, myself included (in a bro way) find him attractive.

@OP, nice job. I was mildly disappointed by the hair, human face, and general similarity to humans of the picture when I first saw it. Then I found out why...

Also, you're quite pretty.

Well done OP, looks good.

Really wish they had put more effort into Tali's face reveal, and I'm not even a Talimancer. I don't really mind the basic design for the Quarians (though I would have preferred it be more alien), but the absolute laziness with how they did it is just... sad. It reeks of rushing.

I'm in a similar position, though I think i may even have been ok if the photo had everything but the face covered by the armour. Seems odd while the galaxy is being attacked that you take the time for photo oppertunities in casual attire - don't they know the end of the universe is nigh!

I don't see the point of "They're not alien enough!" Neither are Asari. The concept of willing suspension of disbelief applies as much to Quarians as Asari.

I actually have no problem with Tali's face being revealed in a picture, though it is a little lame. I would have preferred it to not have been done at all, but that's another story.

But after all the concepts they went through for the Drell or Asari, I think it's just the CHARACTER DESIGN that irks me so much. It's so lazy and so boring. I love the design of the aliens in this game and the Quarian face reveal is so subpar it's almost baffling.
